Welcome Kennedy Watts

“We are thrilled to welcome Kennedy to the 1776 Capital Management Group team,” said Dan Levin.

1776 Capital Management Group of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading wealth management and financial services firm with offices in Blue Bell and Yardley, Pennsylvania, today announced that Kennedy Watts has joined the 1776 team as a summer Wealth Management intern.

Kennedy, a native of Sun Valley, Idaho, continues the legacy of Richmond (Go Spiders!) students holding internships with the 1776 Capital Management Group.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kennedy to the 1776 Capital Management Group team,” said Dan Levin. “Kennedy’s prior experience and interest in the financial services industry, along with her studies in the ecological and social impacts of investments, will provide fresh insights into our branding and social media programs.”

Kennedy Watts is a rising senior at the University of Richmond majoring in business administration with a concentration in finance and a minor in environmental studies. Last summer she discovered the sector of private equity whilst interning for Permit Capital Advisors LLC. Through the internship with Dan and team, Kennedy will gain great experience about the wealth management sector of the financial world. Outside of the office, she enjoys skiing, hiking, boating, and being in the backcountry with her friends and family.

1776 Capital Management Group affirms its commitment to education and the larger community it serves by offering summer Wealth Management internships to college students with an interest and scholarship in finance. For the past 24 years, it has attracted Wealth Management interns from the most prestigious schools in the area. Along with many great students from University of Richmond (Dan’s Alma Mater), interns from Cornell University, University of Pennsylvania, Villanova University, Washington and Lee University among others have been held internships with the team.
