About Blake

Blake Jones is a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with CapitalCoast Wealth Advisors at Janney Montgomery Scott. With nearly three decades in the industry, he has built a career defined by leadership, integrity, and a commitment to helping clients achieve clarity and confidence in their financial lives.


Blake began his career at T. Rowe Price in Baltimore, working in the Retirement Plan Services Department. He later joined John Hancock, focusing on insurance and estate planning, before transitioning to Legg Mason Wood Walker in 1996 to establish his advisory practice. Over the years, Blake navigated the many consolidations of the wirehouse model, ultimately choosing to leave in 2009 to build a client-first practice with Janney. The decision was driven by his belief that clients deserved a more personalized, transparent experience and a culture rooted in accessibility and trust.


Blake holds a B.A. in Finance from Georgetown University. He maintains Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses, as well as a Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Insurance license. He is also a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠ (CRPS®) and an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ (AWMA®). His team has been recognized on the Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list for three consecutive years: 2022, 2023, and 2024.


Active in the Washington, D.C. community, Blake served six years on the board of the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Foundation and continues to support Georgetown University football through alumni events, fundraising, and mentoring. He is married with three daughters and enjoys supporting their athletics, golfing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Liane Jones is a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with CapitalCoast Wealth Advisors at Janney Montgomery Scott. With more than 30 years in the financial services industry, she brings a wealth of experience and a deeply personal approach to client relationships.


Liane’s career began in 1991 at Legg Mason, where she worked while completing her master’s degree. She transitioned to Alex Brown (later Deutsche Bank) in 1996, where she managed corporate stock plan programs for major corporate clients. In 2001, she rejoined Legg Mason as an advisor, continuing the family tradition alongside her brother, Blake. In 2009, they moved their practice to Janney, drawn by the firm’s alignment with their core values of integrity, client focus, and independence.


She holds a B.S. in International Studies from Miami University and an M.A. in International Affairs from American University. Liane maintains Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as insurance credentials. She has also earned designations as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS®), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist™ (CRPS®), and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®).


Liane’s client philosophy centers on education and empowerment. She believes clients make the best decisions when they understand their options, and she takes pride in simplifying complex topics into clear, actionable guidance. Her work often involves retirement and education planning, corporate stock plan expertise, and helping clients navigate major life transitions.


Beyond her advisory role, Liane has served as Vice President of the Burleith Community Foundation for more than a decade. She is also a committed Pilates enthusiast, world traveler, and active participant in alumni and cultural events. Family and community are at the heart of her life, and she is passionate about building lasting relationships both personally and professionally.

LJ Knoll is a Financial Advisor with CapitalCoast Wealth Advisors at Janney Montgomery Scott. He brings more than a decade of financial advisory experience, as well as a unique background as a former business owner, to his work with clients.


LJ began his career in 2011 as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones before joining Janney in 2017. Prior to financial services, he founded and operated a technology company, an experience that sharpened his entrepreneurial skills and ability to solve complex problems. His analytical background is complemented by a B.S. in Physics from the University of Oregon. He holds Series 7 and 66 licenses, along with a Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Insurance license.


Clients value LJ’s approachable, practical style and his ability to translate financial concepts into actionable strategies. His work is grounded in accessibility and trust—meeting clients where they are and building solutions tailored to their unique circumstances. He is particularly focused on long-term planning, risk management, and helping clients create financial flexibility for both today and the future.


Outside the office, LJ and his wife, Leigh, enjoy exploring the outdoors, traveling with their Airstream, hiking, and scuba diving. They also devote time to training their energetic border collie. LJ’s balance of professional expertise, entrepreneurial insight, and personal passion for exploration shapes both his advisory approach and his life outside of work.

About Steven

Steven Goldfarb is an Assistant Vice President and Financial Advisor with CapitalCoast Wealth Advisors at Janney Montgomery Scott. With more than 20 years of financial advisory experience and two decades of prior corporate leadership, Steven brings both analytical expertise and a deeply personal commitment to his clients’ success.


Steven began his career in project management, spending 22 years at Avnet overseeing technology and supply chain initiatives across the Southwest. In 2001, he entered the financial services industry with Legg Mason, later moving to UBS to work with a mentor before joining Janney in 2014. Janney’s boutique culture and client-first philosophy resonated with him, offering the independence, collaboration, and resources to provide tailored, high-quality advice.


He earned his degree in Accounting with a Marketing minor from Arizona State University and holds Series 7 and 66 licenses, along with Life and Health Insurance certifications. His approach is centered on clarity, trust, and long-term perspective. Clients value his ability to filter out market noise, explain complex concepts clearly, and provide steady guidance through changing environments.


Steven’s personal story also shapes his service philosophy. Following the loss of his wife, Lauren, to ALS, he became an active supporter of the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins, where he created an endowment in her name. He also supports Widowed Persons Outreach in Washington, D.C., mentoring others through loss.


A lifelong traveler, Steven has explored the world both solo and with his family, creating meaningful experiences with his son, Scott. He also enjoys skiing, fitness, and time with friends. His ability to connect with people authentically, both in life and in his practice, continues to be the foundation of his success.

Sam Vigderhouse is a Registered Private Client Associate with CapitalCoast Wealth Advisors at Janney Montgomery Scott. Joining the team in 2022 after graduating from the University of Maryland, Sam represents the next generation of financial professionals—combining fresh perspective with hands-on learning from experienced advisors.


Sam holds a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership and Social Innovation. He has passed the SIE exam and maintains Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as a Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance license. He is also working toward the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation.


Prior to Janney, Sam worked in his family’s small business, gaining early exposure to responsibility, customer service, and entrepreneurship. That experience shaped his work ethic and continues to influence his approach to client relationships. Sam focuses on making financial conversations accessible, ensuring clients understand both the details and the larger context of their decisions.

Beyond his professional growth, Sam is actively involved in supporting Special Olympics through fundraising events and community programs. He also maintains a strong personal focus on health, fitness, and golf—a sport he competed in at the varsity level and continues to enjoy today.

About Laurie

Laurie Daugs is the Branch Operations Manager and a Senior Registered Private Client Associate with CapitalCoast Wealth Advisors at Janney Montgomery Scott. With more than three decades in the financial services industry, Laurie has developed a reputation for consistency, reliability, and an unwavering focus on client service.


Her career began in 1991 as an Operations Manager with an independent financial firm. She moved to Legg Mason in 1999 and spanned respected firms including Citigroup/Smith Barney, Morgan Keegan, and Raymond James before she joined Janney in 2015 continuing as an Operations Manager. She holds Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 licenses, as well as a Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Insurance license.


Laurie oversees daily branch operations and supports the advisory team in delivering a seamless client experience. She is known for her attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the reassurance she provides clients when navigating account needs or service requests. Clients appreciate her steady presence and ability to make processes simple and stress-free.


Outside of work, Laurie enjoys gardening—especially cultivating vegetables and fruit trees—exploring thrift shops, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Jeffrey, have been married since 1999 and are the proud parents of two adult children, Emily and Steven. Laurie finds fulfillment in blending her professional skills with her personal values, ensuring every client feels supported and cared for.

Debra S. Roey joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in November 2006, as Janney Retirement Plan Services (JRPS) Manager. JRPS was founded in 1982 to provide Janney’s Corporate Retirement Plan Clients with support in plan design analysis, proposal procurement and review, investment fiduciary services, technical expertise, and problem resolution.

 

Debra has over 30 years of experience in the Retirement Plan arena. Prior to joining Janney, she served as Regional Director with Union Central Life Retirement and Investment Services. During her tenure, she received numerous sales awards including qualification for the company’s highest society membership. She also served on several corporate committees involved with Strategic Planning and Product Development.

 

Debra earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Greg Drahuschak joined Janney in 1991. He has over 45 years of economic experience and provides daily, weekly, and monthly market commentary, with a particular focus on the equity market, to Janney and our clients.

 

Prior to joining Janney, he worked as a retail broker with—and eventually transitioned into the research departments of—Butcher & Singer and Wheat First Securities. He was also an instructor at Robert Morris College and the University of Pittsburgh.

 

Greg has written articles for several newspapers and websites, and has been the featured financial professional on many live radio broadcasts. 

 

He earned his B.A. in fine arts from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as certificates from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and from the New York Institute of Finance.

About Guy

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.

 

Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.

 

Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.

 

Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

About Kim

Kim Beil serves as Director of the Managed and Insured Solutions Group in Janney Montgomery Scott’s Wealth Management department. In this role, Ms. Beil oversees the daily activities of the Managed and Insured Solutions Group and is responsible for promoting both advisory and insured solutions for the firm.

 

Ms. Beil is an active member of the Firm, the industry, and is involved in several community organizations. At Janney, she is a member of the Firm’s Women’s Interactive Network (WIN). She is also a founding member for Girls on the Run Philadelphia, a non-profit program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Currently, she volunteers with the Neucrue Cancer Foundation.

 

A graduate of Drexel University, Mrs. Beil holds a B.S. in business administration, and has over 15 years of financial services industry experience at Janney. She is an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ (AWMA®), holds an insurance license, and is a LEADERSHIP Philadelphia Fellow.

 

In her spare time, Ms. Beil enjoys running and challenging herself in half marathons.

Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.

 

As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.

 

Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.

 

In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.

 

His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.

 

He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
