About Stuart

Stuart Singer began his career in the financial services industry in 1979 and brings more than four decades of experience to his clients and the firm. He holds FINRA Series 5, 7, 9, 10, 15, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as general insurance and long-term care insurance licenses.


Stuart has been recognized for his leadership within Janney, earning Branch Manager of the Year in 2012 and completing the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ program through Janney University in collaboration with the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned the Retirement Income Specialist designation in 2013 and obtained his CLTC® certification in 2019.


Since 2007, Stuart has served seven terms on Janney’s Board of Managers. He also joined the Business Advisory Board of Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte in 2018, supporting the university’s mission to prepare students for graduate education and successful careers in a global economy.


Stuart earned a Bachelor of Science in Science and Finance from the College of New York and an MBA from Tulane University. He and his wife, Teresa, have two daughters and two grandchildren.

Chad Kupreanik, CFP®

About Chad

Chad Kupreanik began his career in the financial services industry in 2000. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, along with general insurance and long-term care insurance licenses. In 2005, Chad completed the nineteen-month CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ curriculum and passed the national examination, with coursework focused on investment, retirement, estate, insurance, and tax planning.


Chad has been actively involved in leadership roles within Janney. In 2005, he and Stuart Singer became the first advisors in the firm’s history to serve on the Mutual Fund Investment Committee, with additional terms in 2014 and 2016. In 2020, Chad was selected to serve on Janney’s Financial Advisory Council. He was named an AdvisorHub “Advisor to Watch” in 2023 and recognized by Forbes as a Best-in-State Wealth Advisor in 2024 and 2025.


Chad is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Biology. He serves on the Board of Javesca Feeds, a nonprofit organization focused on addressing hunger and malnutrition domestically and globally. Chad and his wife, Melanie, have a son and a daughter.

Jonathan Kent Ganzert, CLTC®

About Jonathan

Kent Ganzert began his career in the financial services industry in 1979 and brings decades of market experience to his work with clients. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses, along with a general insurance license.


Kent studied Business Administration at East Carolina University and joined Janney in 2005. He became a partner with Carolina Wealth Advisors in 2012. His client service philosophy has been shaped by firsthand experience navigating market cycles over four decades, allowing him to help clients align investment strategies with their risk tolerance and long-term financial goals. In 2019, Kent earned his CLTC® certification.


Kent is focused on developing investment strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances. He and his wife, Karen, have two sons. Outside of work, Kent enjoys playing golf and tennis.

About Carol

Carol Mansour-Ezzell began her career in the financial services industry in 1980. She holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, a general insurance license, the Certification in Long Term Care (CLTC®), and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC™) designation.


With financial planning at the core of her practice, Carol has built a career centered on comprehensive investment advice and long-standing client relationships. She joined Janney in 2004 and has worked closely with members of Carolina Wealth Advisors since the 1980s and 1990s during her time at JC Bradford & Company.


Carol earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Millsaps College. She and her husband, Pat, value time spent with family and friends and are active members of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Charlotte.

About Nate

Nate Wineland joined Carolina Wealth Advisors in 2023 and serves as a Financial Advisor. His focus includes retirement planning, long-term care, estate planning, and helping clients understand strategies designed to safeguard assets while aligning with their investment goals. Nate holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, and general insurance and long-term care insurance licenses.


Prior to joining the team, Nate worked as a Financial Planner at Janney’s home office in Philadelphia, where he supported more than 850 advisors by developing and delivering comprehensive financial plans for their clients. Before joining Janney in 2019, he spent five years at The Vanguard Group.


Nate earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Susquehanna University, where he also competed on the track team for all four years. A native Philadelphian, he lives in the Cotswold area of Charlotte with his wife, Audrey, and their son, Remy.

Mary has extensive experience across all areas of operations and administration and plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient client experience. From 2007 to 2009, she served on Janney’s Branch Operations Council, contributing her knowledge and perspective at the firm level.


Mary and her husband Gary have 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with their family and their four dogs.

Lisa McConnell began her career with Janney Montgomery Scott in July of 2008. She holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as a general insurance license.


Prior to joining the Carolina Wealth Advisors team in February of 2013, Lisa worked in branch operations at Janney’s Charlotte office. Her background in operations and her attention to detail support the team’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality service to clients.


Lisa and her husband, Daniel, have six grown children and three daughters-in-law. They also share their home with their fur babies, Lana, Binks and Sunny.

Linda McPeters began her career in the financial services industry in 1988 after earning her MBA. She holds FINRA Series 7, 8, 63, and 65 licenses and brings extensive experience across all areas of branch operations and administration.


Linda joined Janney in 2004 when the firm opened its first branch office in South Carolina. Her deep operational knowledge and long tenure with the firm make her an invaluable resource to both clients and colleagues.


Linda and her husband, Jeff, enjoy traveling, spending time with their family, and staying active in their church. They also enjoy time with their two dogs.

About Guy

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.

 

Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.

 

Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.

 

Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

About Mark

Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.

 

As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.

 

Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.

 

In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.

 

His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.

 

He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
