Carolina Wealth Advisors and the Charlotte branch of Janney Montgomery Scott have had the pleasure of serving our community in a variety of different ways.
We participated in the Janney wide Socktober – our office donated over 800 pairs of socks for men, women and children to our local homeless shelter.
We also brought dinner to the Charlotte Ronald McDonald House. We have done this the past two years. We provided, pizza, salad and a delicious ice cream bar to the residents of the house. We get so much pleasure in helping out at the house, but it is a task that we wish wasn’t necessary.
Carolina Wealth Advisors participated as a team at a local charity called Beds for Kids. This organization provides furnishings to local families getting back on their feet after living in shelters. Some of the children in these families have never had their own bed or a desk to do their homework. The video that we watched of the children realizing that they get to have their own bed brought tears to everyone’s eyes. We spent the morning cleaning and preparing the furniture for delivery.
We are so glad that Janney encourages us to reach out to our community. We have many in our office who contribute in other ways, but we wanted to provide you an example of the teamwork we have in our office.
