About Claudette

Claudette brings a planning approach to investing with a wide range of clients, making recommendations to help them make informed decisions. She brings a planning approach to investing with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Claudette was employed as a college administrator and adjunct professor throughout a 16 year career.

In working with clients, Claudette provides all aspects of planning services—from the accumulation phase for specific goals such as saving for a child’s college education, a first home or even one’s own retirement, but it doesn’t stop there. She also helps clients plan for the distribution phase to pay for college, create a retirement income stream and helps to ensure that their assets are distributed to the people or organizations designated in their estate plan. Incorporating asset allocation where needed helps her clients toward reaching their financial goals. She also works with other professionals to limit taxes and to help ensure client wishes are fulfilled.

Claudette received her Bachelor degree from Hood College. She holds an MBA in Accounting from Mount St. Mary's University. In 2007, Claudette’s sister died and she was overwhelmed with grief. Not only sad for herself, but especially sad because her sister wouldn’t see her three young children (one who is a special needs child), graduate from college, have careers, get married, have children. Claudette’s husband felt she needed a distraction. He kept encouraging Claudette to “get that show dog you’ve been talking about for years” and so she did. Claudette has been showing and breeding Standard Poodles since 2008. She has a top producing stud dog. In 2018 Claudette was recognized as one of the top Standard Poodle breeders in the country. It is not because she bred a lot of puppies, It’s because the puppies she bred did a lot of winning. She is an AKC Breeder of Merit. Claudette loves dogs. They are her passion right behind her career in financial services.
