About Melody

As a lifelong resident of Fayette County, Melody proudly serves those in her local community, and beyond. Her attention to detail and dedication is apparent throughout her life and career. Melody was Salutatorian of her Brownsville Area High School graduating class. She spent 25 years in banking prior to joining Parker/Hunter, and currently serves as First Vice President/Investments, Financial Advisor at Janney. Melody earned the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) Designation through the College of Financial Planning and the Wharton School of Business in 2006. Later she added the Retirement Income Specialist (RIS) to her credentials. Melody and her business partner, Laura, have represented Janney at Barron’s Top Women Advisors Summit several times. Outside of her duties at Janney, Melody previously served as a lay member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Commission, and as past President of Soroptimist International of Fayette County. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing moments with friends and family the most.

About Laura

Laura was born, raised, and resides in the Mon Valley area of Pennsylvania. She earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Waynesburg College. Her career as a financial advisor started 35 years ago, when she joined her father’s practice at Parker/Hunter, now Janney. Laura joined The Peters Group, now Fayette Legacy Partners, in the Uniontown Janney office in 2010. She earned the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation through the College of Financial Planning. Laura is dedicated to her clients and her community. She is a member of the Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, a past member of Lions Club International, is very active in her church, and previously served as an officer of Women Entrepreneurs in Business. Over the years, Laura has attended many industry conferences, including the Barron’s Top Women Advisors Summit. She revels in time spent with her friends, family, and pets, and often lends a hand at her daughter and son-in-law's winery.

About Christopher

Chris is a United States Air Force Veteran, previously serving in both Jordan and Kuwait. Upon his honorable discharge, he completed a dual major in Finance and Accounting at California University of Pennsylvania. In 2015, Chris joined Janney as a Financial Advisor, obtaining his FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses, as well as life, health, and annuity insurance licenses. Chris also maintains a designation as a Certified Long-Term Care (CLTC®) designee. His previous experience in accounting makes him a valuable asset to Fayette Legacy Partners; devoting most of his days to analyzing clients’ financial plans and investment strategies. Chris was a Boy Scout, and later Eagle Scout, in his youth. He is a member of several fraternal organizations. Away from the office, Chris enjoys perfecting his swing on the golf course.

About Michael

Mike is a proud resident of Pennsylvania’s Mon Valley. His education and work experience, coupled with his passion for the financial markets, make him uniquely suited to advise individual investors, business owners, and working professionals grow, preserve, and ultimately transfer their wealth. Prior to joining Janney as Financial Advisor, he held several regional and national leadership roles for Fortune 500 companies within the healthcare sector, including Philips Respironics and Linde. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Duquesne University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Waynesburg University. He holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, life, health, and annuity insurance licenses, Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC®) designation, as well as the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) designation, which he obtained through the College of Financial Planning. Mike is a Rotarian, and an active member of his community. He is involved in several fraternal and charitable organizations. In his free time, he enjoys boating, fishing, and spending time with his family.

In her role as Financial Advisor, Jeanine works to prioritize each client’s unique needs, focusing on making complex concepts understandable, while providing a customized approach to household investment strategy and financial planning. Prior to her current role, she spent nearly 15 years at Janney in Branch Operations, five of which were also dedicated to Fayette Legacy Partners and their clients. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Broadcast News from West Virginia University. Jeanine holds her FINRA Series 7, 66, 9 &10 licenses as well as life, health, and annuity insurance licenses. She was an inaugural member of Janney’s PCA Council and served as Branch Technology Leader for the Uniontown Office. Jeanine is an appreciator of the arts, especially live music and horror movies. She thrives in quirky situations, loves animals, and enjoys time spent with friends, family, and pets.

About Jordan

Jordan grew up in a small, one red light town; Paden City, West Virginia. He attended West Liberty University in Wheeling, home of the Hilltoppers, with a dual major in Finance and Accounting. His career started as an intern at Ameriprise Financial before he accepted a full-time position in 2021. Shortly after, he obtained his FINRA Series 7 & Series 66 licenses, as well as life, health, and annuity insurance licenses. He is now a part of Fayette Legacy Partners as their Registered Private Client Associate. He lives in Morgantown, WV where he enjoys attending college football, basketball, and baseball games with his friends. During his spare time, he enjoys breaking a sweat at the gym.

About Debra

Debra S. Roey joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in November 2006, as Janney Retirement Plan Services (JRPS) Manager. JRPS was founded in 1982 to provide Janney’s Corporate Retirement Plan Clients with support in plan design analysis, proposal procurement and review, investment fiduciary services, technical expertise, and problem resolution.

 

Debra has over 30 years of experience in the Retirement Plan arena. Prior to joining Janney, she served as Regional Director with Union Central Life Retirement and Investment Services. During her tenure, she received numerous sales awards including qualification for the company’s highest society membership. She also served on several corporate committees involved with Strategic Planning and Product Development.

 

Debra earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.

About Guy

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.

 

Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.

 

Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.

 

Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

About Mark

Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.

 

As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.

 

Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.

 

In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.

 

His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.

 

He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
