Steve began his career in the financial services industry in 2000. He has an affinity for discipline and a passion for helping others. Steve leads the team by example: “Our process begins by taking the time to fully understand each client’s particular needs, concerns and priorities. Excellent service is the cornerstone of our model.”
Steve was added to the Forbes Finance Council in 2020 and remains an active member and contributor on Forbes.com. Steve holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation, which he obtained from The American College, and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation. Steve also has the rare honor of holding the C(k)P: A Certified 401(K) Professional title, which he obtained from the UCLA Anderson School of Business. He studied Business Administration at Belmont Abbey College, where he was also a member of the tennis team.
Steve is an avid Jacksonville Jaguars and Leicester City Foxes fan. He shares his time between Janney’s Greenville, Delaware and Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida offices. Steve and his wife, Julie, have two teenage sons, Weston and Logan. Steve likes to boast that he can still beat both of them at most sporting competitions!
Gregory has helped families and business owners pursue their wealth management goals and financial objectives for four decades. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designations. Gregory enjoys working closely with multi generational families to provide comprehensive planning, including estate planning and wealth transfer.
Gregory has an appreciation for family, community, and hard work. As giving back has always been a mainstay in his career, he spends his time away from the office helping to improve his community. He has served as a board member with the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania and has coached local YMCA basketball teams. Gregory has also worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Delaware, mentoring young people.
Gregory is a graduate of Mercyhurst University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He and his lovely bride, Pat, have been married for 27 years. On the weekends, Greg and his wife can be found outdoors, often hiking the trails along the Brandywine River and the Delaware Watergap.
Katie joined the group in 2018 and has over 19 years of industry experience. Katie manages the administrative team, along with the implementation of new client relationships, facilitating the consolidation of assets and the client service process. She handles the settling of estates, communicating with beneficiaries and heirs of our clients along with their Attorneys and CPAs. Katie works closely with our clients and their families to ensure proper estate planning, trust titling and wealth transfer strategies are in place. She also assists the team with asset protection products, such as annuities, life and long-term care. Katie holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC ®) designation.
A graduate of the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in Operations Management and Marketing. Katie enjoys going to the drive on beach on the weekends and cheering on "The Birds" and the Philadelphia Phillies. She lives in Middletown, DE, with her daughters, Madison and Reagan.
Brianna joined the Gansler Wealth Management Group in September of 2022. With over ten years of customer service experience, Brianna assists the team in administrative duties as well as coordinating client events. She is an integral part of our team, helping families with day-to-day financial needs and education planning. She works closely with her team and their clients to assist in many aspects of the financial planning process.
Brianna was born and raised in Delaware and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. She lives in the Trolley Square area in Wilmington, where she can be found walking her two dogs, playing in a softball league, or attending pottery classes at the Delaware Art Museum. She also enjoys supporting her local Philadelphia teams, the Eagles and the Phillies.
Denise came to Janney in October 2019. She has extensive administrative experience, previously serving as the Deputy Director of Council Affairs and Constituent Services for the City of Dover. Denise works closely with the financial advisors in the Delaware Complex, assisting with financial planning and business development.
Denise is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Wesley College with a degree in History, and earned her Masters' in History from Washington College. When she's not working, Denise enjoys spending time with her family, live music, volunteering with her church, and being on the water.

Debra S. Roey joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in November 2006, as Janney Retirement Plan Services (JRPS) Manager. JRPS was founded in 1982 to provide Janney’s Corporate Retirement Plan Clients with support in plan design analysis, proposal procurement and review, investment fiduciary services, technical expertise, and problem resolution.
Debra has over 30 years of experience in the Retirement Plan arena. Prior to joining Janney, she served as Regional Director with Union Central Life Retirement and Investment Services. During her tenure, she received numerous sales awards including qualification for the company’s highest society membership. She also served on several corporate committees involved with Strategic Planning and Product Development.
Debra earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.
Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.
Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.
Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.
Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.
As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.
Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.
In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.
His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.
He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
Shurdonna serves as Vice President and the Director of Janney's High Net Worth Consulting Group. She provides comprehensive solutions designed to effectively address complex issues to help high net worth individuals and families, business owners, corporate executives, professional athletes, and others meet their goals and objectives.
Most recently, Shurdonna served as Assistant Vice President & Senior Financial Planner, supporting the advanced financial planning efforts for the Firm's Mid-Atlantic region. She also supported Janney’s clients in achieving their financial goals, provided subject matter expertise, and coached Janney's Financial Advisors and their clients through all aspects of financial planning. Together, they formulate comprehensive financial plans outlining estate, trust, and wealth transfer planning, asset protection, retirement, income tax, and charitable planning strategies.
Shurdonna has more than 15 years of progressive experience in the investment management industry. Previously, Shurdonna was a Financial Advisor in Vanguard Personal Advisor Services®, where she provided investment guidance and financial planning services to clients with significant wealth. Shurdonna also served in Vanguard’s Education Savings Group, focusing on 529 plans and college-savings strategies. While at Vanguard, Shurdonna had the opportunity to rotate through several of the firm's departments, including Retirement Plan Services, International, and Retail Investor Group, as part of its Accelerated Leadership Development Program.
Shurdonna earned the Certified Financial PlannerTM designation and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
She received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Temple University Beasley School of Law and has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Morgan State University Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management.
Shurdonna is an active leader in her region's nonprofit community. She is a board member and a member of the finance, DEI, and strategic planning committees of Philadelphia's Magic Gardens mosaic art environment. She’s also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, an international service organization.
