Vic has been helping families, businesses, and foundations for more than 50 years. He takes the time to truly get to know his clients and their families, ensuring he understands their financial needs for both today and the future. Vic focuses on risk management and cash flow in his relationships.
He began his career at Advest after attending the University of Connecticut at night to earn his undergraduate degree. He later earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Hartford. In 2009, he joined Janney Montgomery Scott, where he continued providing individualized advice to clients. As his client base grew, Vic recognized the need to build a team. After finding the perfect complement in Jim, Chris, and Evan, they formed a strong, collaborative group.
Outside of work, Vic enjoys being a grandparent and spending time along the Connecticut shoreline. He lives in Mystic with his wife, Marj, and their dog, Cooper.
Evan started working in the financial services industry in 2005 after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Connecticut. As a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) professional and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™), Evan’s primary role on the team is to meet with clients to help ensure their investments are aligned with their goals, time frames, liquidity needs, and risk tolerance. He is a frequent speaker at retirement and transition workshops tailored for employees of large corporations.
Evan has been continually recognized for his commitment to client service. He was named to Forbes magazine’s list of America’s Top 500 Next-Generation Wealth Advisors in 2017, Best-In-State Next-Gen Advisors in 2019, and Best-In-State Wealth Advisors in 2021, 2024, and 2025. He was also recognized by Financial Planning as a Top 40 Regional Broker-Dealer Advisor Under 40 in 2021 and by AdvisorHub as an Advisor to Watch – Over $1 Billion in Assets in 2025.
Evan has volunteered as a security guard at the finish line of the Boston Marathon every year since 2007, missing only one year to run it in 2014. He has volunteered as a basketball coach at the Mandell JCC in West Hartford and has been a West Hartford Little League coach since 2015. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two children and is an avid runner, skier, and golfer.
Chris has been providing wealth management advice and guidance to clients since 1998. In addition to traditional financial planning, he helps clients pursue their objectives by building and managing personalized strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, as well as third-party investment strategies. He also supports clients across several areas, including investment strategy, asset allocation, and performance analysis.
Chris holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™) designation and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Connecticut. He lives in Farmington, Connecticut, with his wife, Jeanne, and their son, Colin. Outside of work, he enjoys going to concerts and golfing.
James ("Jim") Poliner began his career as a Financial Advisor in 1996 with Advest in Middletown, Connecticut. With nearly three decades of experience, he specializes in helping families, institutions, and businesses develop tailored investment and planning strategies designed to support their unique goals.
He holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS®) designation from the College for Financial Planning and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College. Jim is a proud supporter of Connecticut Special Olympics and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and remains actively involved in philanthropic initiatives throughout Middlesex County.
Outside of work, Jim enjoys going to concerts, playing pinball, and spending time with his family. He lives in Chester, Connecticut, with his wife and their three children.
Michael joined Glastonbury Wealth Management in 2015. He previously worked in employer-sponsored retirement plan services at Voya Financial.
He works with clients to help simplify their financial lives and collaborates with Chris MacPherson and Jim Poliner in maintaining the group’s investment portfolio. He also assists clients with bond selection and asset allocation and conducts periodic reviews for advisory accounts.
Michael is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) professional and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™) designation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management from Salve Regina University. Michael lives in Simsbury, Connecticut, with his wife, Alissa, and their growing family. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, home improvement projects, and spending time with his family.
Rebecca has been an integral part of the team, working closely with Chris MacPherson and Evan Gilchrest since 2007. With a strong background in sales and operations within the insurance industry, she is the team’s most senior operations professional and brings a wealth of experience to her role.
Rebecca serves as a key service and administrative liaison for clients, overseeing critical processes, and supporting daily business needs that include, but are not limited to, meeting preparation, new account openings, distributions, compliance, scheduling, and client meetings to review accounts. She has extensive experience supporting clients through estate-related matters and death settlements, ensuring these sensitive processes are handled with care and accuracy. In marketing, Rebecca is a go-to resource for Jessica on larger initiatives, providing thoughtful input grounded in her deep understanding of the business and clients. She serves as a mentor for Amanda, Lex, and Jess, guiding their growth and development within the team. Her experience, attention to detail, and commitment to client satisfaction make her an invaluable resource.
Outside of her professional life, Rebecca lives in East Hampton, Connecticut, with her husband, two children, and their two dogs. In her free time, she is passionate about weight training, golf, gardening, baking (especially her amazing sourdough), coaching soccer and cheerleading, and performing with her band, showcasing her love for music.
Alexis (“Lex”) Jankauskas began an internship with Janney Montgomery Scott in the Columbia, South Carolina office while attending the University of South Carolina, where she earned a degree in Finance. Shortly after graduation, she joined Glastonbury Wealth Management as a Private Client Associate.
Lex’s role includes client operations, marketing, and assisting Rebecca Dotson with administrative responsibilities such as distributions, meeting preparation, and account openings. She lives in West Hartford, Connecticut, and enjoys plants, reading, and spending time with her family.
Amanda Keroack (formerly Toupence) is a Private Client Associate for Glastonbury Wealth Management. She brings extensive experience to the team and manages a variety of administrative tasks, from daily operations to project work. Amanda also helps manage and strengthen client relationships, often serving as a point of contact for annuity-related service requests and other ongoing needs to ensure clients are supported efficiently. With strong attention to detail and a commitment to compliance, she helps the team deliver high-quality, consistent service.
Prior to joining Janney, Amanda gained valuable experience at smaller wealth-management firms. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Central Connecticut State University. Amanda lives in Tolland with her husband, Chris, and their Australian Shepherd, Scout. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to podcasts, watching the Food Network, and spending time on home-improvement projects, gardening, and cooking.
Jessica (“Jess”) Maheu began her career at Janney Montgomery Scott as an intern with Glastonbury Wealth Management in 2022 while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management from the University of Connecticut. After graduating, she transitioned into her current role as a Private Client Associate. In this role, Jess assists the team in managing and growing client relationships, implementing marketing initiatives, and enhancing operational processes. She manages key functions including account openings, transfers, distributions, account aggregation, and online client services, while also helping to ensure adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements. Additionally, she supports the coordination of educational webinars and marketing campaigns and works closely with Rebecca Dotson on larger initiatives to keep clients informed and engaged.
Jess has passed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam and is currently preparing for the Series 7 and Series 66 exams, which will allow her to provide more comprehensive support in investment-related matters.
Jess lives in South Windsor, Connecticut, with her cat, Dash, and rabbit, Sgt. Pepper. Outside of the office, she enjoys going to concerts, tackling home improvement projects, taking day trips, and expanding her collection of fun socks.
We collaborate with other Janney specialists, as needed, who have in-depth experience in specific disciplines. Together, we can assess your unique situation, analyze difference strategies, and develop a plan fit for your unique needs and goals.
Emily is responsible for running Janney’s Financial Planning Software. She provides Janney Financial Advisors and Financial Planners with training and guidance on the planning software, as well as assistance creating and presenting the financial plans.
Emily joined Janney in 2018 while enrolled in Temple University’s Financial Planning Program. Prior to Janney, she worked for Leon Levy & Associates and Northwestern Mutual.
Emily graduated from Temple University with a B.S in Financial Planning & Human Resource Management. She is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Professional and holds the Series 7; Series 66; and Life, Health, Accident & Fixed Annuities Licenses
Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.
As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.
Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.
In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.
His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.
He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
