Vic has been helping families, businesses and foundations for over 40 years. He takes the time to get to know his clients and their families, really understanding what they need financially for today and tomorrow. Vic focuses on risk management and cash flow in his relationships.
Vic began his career at Advest after attending the University of Connecticut at night to earn his undergraduate degree.He then continued on to obtain his MBA in finance from the University of Hartford. In 2009, he moved to Janney Montgomery Scott where he continued to give his clients the individualized advice they had come to value. As the number of Vic’s relationships grew, he saw a need to build a team. After looking for the right group to work with, he found the perfect complement in Jim, Chris and Evan.
Outside of work, Vic spends his time being a Grandpa and enjoying the beautiful Connecticut shoreline. He resides in Mystic with his wife, Marj and dog, Cooper.
Evan started working in the financial services industry in 2005 after earning his BA in English at the University of Connecticut. As a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™), Evan’s primary role on the team is to meet with clients to ensure that their investments are aligned with their goals, time frames, liquidity needs and risk tolerance. He is a frequent speaker at retirement and transition workshops tailored for employees of large corporations. Evan is continually recognized for his commitment to client service. He was named to Forbes magazine list of America’s Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors in 2017, Best in State Next-Gen Advisors in 2019, Best in State Wealth Advisors in 2021, and Best in State Wealth Advisors in 2024. He was also recognized by Financial Planning as a Top 40 Regional Advisors Under 40 in 2021.
Evan has volunteered as a security guard at the finish line of the Boston Marathon every year since 2007, missing only one year to run it in 2014. He has volunteered as a basketball coach at the Mandell JCC in West Hartford and has been a West Hartford Little League coach since 2015. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two children and is an avid runner, skier and golfer.
Chris has offered wealth management advice and guidance to clients since 1998.
In addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, Chris helps clients pursue their objectives by building, recommending and managing his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds and third-party investment strategies. He also supports clients in several areas, including financial planning and wealth management.
Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Connecticut, and he holds the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™).
Chris lives in Farmington, Connecticut with his wife, Jeanne and son, Colin.
Jim began his career as a Financial Advisor in 1996 with Advest in Middletown, CT. He focuses on advising families, institutions and businesses by recommending customized investment and planning strategies.
Jim has a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College and has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™) designation from the College for Financial Planning. He is a volunteer for Connecticut Special Olympics and active in supporting Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
For fun, Jim likes to go to concerts, play pinball and spend time with his family. He resides in Glastonbury with his wife and three children.
Michael joined the team in 2015. He previously worked servicing employer-sponsored retirement plans at Voya Financial.
Michael works with clients to help them simplify their financial lives. He also works with Chris MacPherson and Jim Poliner in maintaining the group’s investment portfolio, assists clients with bond selection, asset allocation and performs periodic reviews for advisory accounts.
Michael is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional and also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™) designation. Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in financial management from Salve Regina University. In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and tackling a variety of home improvement projects. Michael lives in Simsbury, Connecticut with his wife, Alissa and their growing family.
Rebecca has worked with Chris MacPherson and Evan Gilchrest since 2007. Prior to that, she worked in sales and operations in the insurance industry. She acts as a service and administrative liaison for clients, addressing topics such as new accounts, online services, distributions, scheduling and general client questions and concerns.
Rebecca lives in East Hampton, Connecticut with her husband, two children and rescue dog. In her free time, she also enjoys golf, gardening, baking and singing with her band.
Lex began an internship for Janney Montgomery Scott in the Columbia, South Carolina office while attending the University of South Carolina where she earned a degree in finance. Shortly after graduation, she joined Glastonbury Wealth Management as a Private Client Associate.
Lex’s role consists of client operations, marketing and assisting Rebecca in administrative duties, such as distributions, meeting preparation and account opening. She lives in West Hartford, Connecticut and enjoys plants, reading and spending time with her family.
As a Private Client Associate for Glastonbury Wealth Management, Amanda provides administrative responsibilities ranging from day-to-day operations to project work to support the needs of our clients. She has impeccable attention to detail and is committed to going above and beyond to service the needs of our clients. Prior to joining Janney, Amanda worked for smaller wealth management firms and attended Central Connecticut State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
Amanda lives in Tolland, where she enjoys spending time with her family and their Australian Shepherd, Scout. When she is not in the office, Amanda can be found listening to her favorite podcasts and watching the Food Network in addition to working on home improvement projects, gardening and cooking.
Jessica began her career at Janney as an intern for Glastonbury Wealth Management and worked her way to becoming a Private Client Associate for the team. As a Private Client Associate, Jessica is responsible for the daily business operations for Glastonbury Wealth Management and serves as the first line of contact for our clients. She ensures the efficiency and quality on critical processes, such as opening accounts, account aggregation, transfer requests, as well as adhering to firm compliance guidelines.
Prior to joining Janney, she attended the University of Connecticut where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Financial Management.
Jessica lives in South Windsor and enjoys spending time with her cats, going to concerts, and watching football. She is an avid sneaker collector, and you can often find her wearing fun socks.

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.
Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.
Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.
Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.
As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.
Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.
In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.
His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.
He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
