About John

John graduated from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing. Prior to joining Janney, John began his financial services career in 1990 with Legg Mason in Baltimore where he worked in the mutual funds marketing area. John has worked for several financial services firms and, in addition to being an Executive Vice President/Wealth Management, he also serves as Branch Manager for the Janney office in Bel Air.


John currently holds his Series 7, 31, 66, and 9/10 securities licenses, and is licensed to sell life, health and long-term care insurance.


He lives in Cockeysville with his wife Gabrielle and their two daughters Sonee and Lila. John served for ten years as a volunteer/ coach in the Carroll Manor recreation program. He also serves as a Big Brother in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization of Baltimore. John is a past board member and Treasurer for SARC in Harford County. In 2018, and each subsequent year, John was recognized by the firm as a CEO Roundtable Club Level Financial Advisor for his continued dedication to his clients. He currently serves as Board Chairman for Boys Hope/Girls Hope of Baltimore. John has been recognized by On Wall Street as a Top 100 Branch Manager.

About John

John graduated from Towson University in Towson, Maryland in 1995, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He began his financial services career with Legg Mason in Baltimore from 1996-2006 as a Senior Fixed Income Retail Mortgage Trader. John also worked at Stifel Financial Corp from 2006-2017 as a Senior Trader/Manager for both the Retail and Institutional Mortgage desk. John joined Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC. in 2017.  John currently holds his Series 7, 24, 63 and 66 securities licenses, and is also licensed to sell life, health, and long-term care insurance. 


John lives in Fallston with his wife, Francesca, and their three children Dominic, Sophia, and Joseph. He has been an active parishioner of Saint Stephen Church for over 25 years. He served for seven years as Treasurer for Saint Stephen School Father’s Club. Currently, John serves as a board member of SIAB (Society of Italian-American Businessmen) and Mann House Inc.  John enjoys playing racquetball, golf, and is fluent in Italian.

Carol is a very intricate part of her team. Her forethought, diligence, and passion cultivate and strengthen our client experience. With her vast experience, attention to detail, and considerable organizational skills, clients can rest assured that their every concern is addressed in a serious, prompt, and professional manner. Carol’s primary roles include management of client relationships, team marketing, and advertising, and coordination of special events.


Carol began her career in the financial services industry in 1990 at the first investment bank in the United States, Alex Brown & Sons. She joined the team in June 2003 and has committed her career to working alongside an exceptional team of advisors. Carol shares the values of hard-work and top-notch service with her team, always putting the client first. 


Carol is a lifelong resident of Maryland, and currently resides in Bel Air with her husband, Sloan and their daughter, Portia. She enjoys high performance driving with the Potomac Porsche Club of America, traveling, the Arts and, spending time with her family and friends.

Kathy began her career with the team in 2006, following her retirement after many years with ADP Payroll Services as a Customer Service Manager.  Kathy is the primary client contact for administrative matters such as opening new accounts, issuing checks, processing electronic fund transfers and fed fund wires, transferring assets between accounts, and various other operational functions.  Invaluable, enthusiastic and considerate, she is committed to being a reliable source for clients.

Kathy has committed many years serving on various volunteer committees for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.  This organization is very near & dear to her heart.  She has lived in Maryland for many years and resides in Bel Air. Kathy has an adult son, Dan, who is her greatest accomplishment. She enjoys spending time with family, extended family and friends.

About Melissa

Melissa joined Janney in 2021 bringing with her a wealth of industry experience. Starting her career in financial services in 1984, she has been instrumental in the success of many efforts, including the opening of one of the first national investment firms in Harford County, Maryland.


She has provided operational and administrative support to branch managers and financial advisors, and she has cultivated client relationships while providing a high level of customer service. Prior to joining our team, Melissa held senior administrative support positions at Wells Fargo Advisors, Ameriprise Financial and A.G. Edwards & Sons.


Melissa was born and raised in Baltimore and currently resides in Forest Hill with her husband, Scott and, their son, Noah. In her free time, Melissa enjoys cooking, baking, and attending college sporting events and tailgating with friends, especially at University of Delaware football games.

About Debra

Debra S. Roey joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in November 2006, as Janney Retirement Plan Services (JRPS) Manager. JRPS was founded in 1982 to provide Janney’s Corporate Retirement Plan Clients with support in plan design analysis, proposal procurement and review, investment fiduciary services, technical expertise, and problem resolution.

 

Debra has over 30 years of experience in the Retirement Plan arena. Prior to joining Janney, she served as Regional Director with Union Central Life Retirement and Investment Services. During her tenure, she received numerous sales awards including qualification for the company’s highest society membership. She also served on several corporate committees involved with Strategic Planning and Product Development.

 

Debra earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Greg Drahuschak joined Janney in 1991. He has over 45 years of economic experience and provides daily, weekly, and monthly market commentary, with a particular focus on the equity market, to Janney and our clients.

 

Prior to joining Janney, he worked as a retail broker with—and eventually transitioned into the research departments of—Butcher & Singer and Wheat First Securities. He was also an instructor at Robert Morris College and the University of Pittsburgh.

 

Greg has written articles for several newspapers and websites, and has been the featured financial professional on many live radio broadcasts. 

 

He earned his B.A. in fine arts from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as certificates from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and from the New York Institute of Finance.

About Guy

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.

 

Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.

 

Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.

 

Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Jack Cintorino, based out of the Alexandria, VA branch, provides assistance and support in many aspects of financial planning to Janney’s Financial Advisors and their clients. Prior to joining Janney, Jack was employed at AXA since October 2012 as Director / Lead Manager and Senior Case Design Consultant focusing on Estate and Charitable Planning. He holds a BA degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook, and Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Touro College School of Law.

 

Jack has been a featured guest on a cable television investment program, has had several articles published within the industry, and has been a guest speaker at numerous industry and public seminars.

About Kim

Kim Beil serves as Director of the Managed and Insured Solutions Group in Janney Montgomery Scott’s Wealth Management department. In this role, Ms. Beil oversees the daily activities of the Managed and Insured Solutions Group and is responsible for promoting both advisory and insured solutions for the firm.

 

Ms. Beil is an active member of the Firm, the industry, and is involved in several community organizations. At Janney, she is a member of the Firm’s Women’s Interactive Network (WIN). She is also a founding member for Girls on the Run Philadelphia, a non-profit program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Currently, she volunteers with the Neucrue Cancer Foundation.

 

A graduate of Drexel University, Mrs. Beil holds a B.S. in business administration, and has over 15 years of financial services industry experience at Janney. She is an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ (AWMA®), holds an insurance license, and is a LEADERSHIP Philadelphia Fellow.

 

In her spare time, Ms. Beil enjoys running and challenging herself in half marathons.

About Mark

Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.

 

As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.

 

Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.

 

In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.

 

His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.

 

He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
