Barry began his career as a financial advisor in 1987 at Paine Webber in Hartford, bringing over 35 years of experience to his practice. A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, he lives in Mystic with his wife, Marie, where they raised three children: Brendan, Bridget, and Fiona. Barry is dedicated to providing tailored recommendations to help clients achieve their unique life-stage goals. He specializes in all aspects of corporate executive financial services, including compensation and benefits management.
In addition to his professional work, Barry is actively involved in community service. He serves on the board of directors at St. Edmund's Retreat, an organization committed to providing support to individuals in need and addressing substance abuse issues, where he also leads a weekly meditation course. Barry is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Mystic, and he is a Paul Harris Fellow.
In his leisure time, Barry enjoys sailing, golf, and DIY building projects. He is also a former commodore of Mason's Island Yacht Club and loves spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Glenn began his career in a tumultuous equity market which gave him a deep appreciation for wealth management and planning. Over the past 30 years he has helped clients manage their wealth throughout good times and bad. He joined Janney after serving at UBS for 12 years. Prior to that, he spent 23 years at multiple regional investment firms.
Glenn focuses on asset allocation and total portfolio management with emphasis placed on retirement income planning. He also helps clients with education funding and planning, structures for charitable giving, and estate planning. He is FINRA-registered and holds the Series 7, 24, 63, and 66 securities licenses in addition to his Life, Accident, and Health Insurance, Long Term Care, and variable annuities licenses. Committed to continuous education, Glenn also holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™), and the Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor™ (ADPA™) professional designations.
Glenn lives in New London, CT with his wife, Celeste, and their dog, Grady. He is actively involved in several community organizations. In his free time, he enjoys international traveling, golf, and gardening.
Sam Greenfield is a founding partner of Harbor Wealth Planning at Janney Montgomery Scott, where he helps clients navigate life's financial complexities through thoughtful, comprehensive wealth planning. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Sam believes great financial advice starts with understanding each client's goals, values, and priorities. His goal is to simplify financial complexity by bringing every aspect of a client's financial life together, allowing them to spend less time worrying about money and more time focused on what matters most.
Sam takes a planning-first approach to helping clients make informed financial decisions. He works to coordinate investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, tax-efficient strategies, insurance, education funding, and legacy planning into a cohesive strategy tailored to each client's unique circumstances. He also enjoys collaborating with attorneys, accountants, and other trusted professionals to help ensure every piece of a client's financial plan works together.
Much of Sam's work centers on helping clients navigate life's major transitions, whether preparing for retirement, managing an inheritance, selling a business, caring for a loved one, or adapting to a significant personal or professional change. He also advises business owners on retirement plan strategies and enjoys helping entrepreneurs align their business decisions with their long-term personal financial goals.
Before joining Janney in 2022, Sam worked internationally as an award-winning Onboard Reporter covering two Volvo Ocean Races, along with America's Cup and SailGP campaigns. Working alongside world-class athletes, entrepreneurs and creative professionals gave him a firsthand appreciation for careers that don't always follow a traditional path. Today, that experience informs his approach to helping clients whose lives, careers, and financial goals are anything but conventional.
Sam earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2026. He is a graduate of Janney's Financial Advisor Development Program and holds the Sports and Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ (SE-AWMA®) designation. He also holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations, along with life and health insurance licenses.
Sam earned degrees from New York University and the University of Connecticut at Avery Point. He lives in Stonington, Connecticut, with his wife, Bridget. He is active in the local community and serves as the elected Clerk/Treasurer of the Quiambaug Fire District. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time on the water.
Lisa has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is dedicated to our clients and has an amazing attention to detail. Having begun her career in 1992 at Chelsea Groton bank, Lisa moved to Smith Barney, predecessor firm to Morgan Stanley, in Old Lyme in 1995.
A loving wife and mother of two boys, outside of the office, Lisa is a passionate coach and a board member for local Little League Baseball. On or off the field, Lisa is committed to our clients and our community.
Matt is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and brings with him a strong background in research and analytics. Since joining Janney in early 2022, he has been responsible for managing all administrative and operational aspects of the practice. Prior to this, Matt gained valuable experience working for several Fortune 500 companies, including Bank of America, New York Life, Edward Jones, and Northwestern Mutual.
Matt is FINRA-registered and holds Series 7 & 66 securities licenses. He is also licensed for insurance products, with qualifications in Life, Health, Accident, and Long-Term Care. Additionally, he serves as a Connecticut Notary Public.
Residing in Lisbon, CT, Matt enjoys family life with his wife, Pamela, and their three children: Nathaniel and twins Madisyn and Liliana. In his free time, he loves photography, woodworking, and diving into American history.
Mhari brings over a decade of client relations experience to her role, with a strong focus on organization, attention to detail, and delivering an exceptional client experience. Before transitioning into financial services, she built a successful career as a jeweler, where she earned a reputation for precision craftsmanship and a client-first approach.
A Mystic native, Mhari now resides in Westerly with her husband and their rescue dogs. Outside of work, she is an avid gardener, enjoys a variety of artistic pursuits, and is actively involved in her community through her local historical society and beach clean-up initiatives.
Sam joined Harbor Wealth Planning in January of 2026.
Sam is responsible for overseeing cash management, conducting financial analysis, building financial models, and executing client transactions with precision.
Prior to joining Harbor Wealth Planning, Sam held Associate level positions in wealth management at UBS and Morgan Stanley. Sam received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Rhode Island.
Sam is an avid reader, runner, and distance swimmer.

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.
Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.
Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.
Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.
As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.
Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.
In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.
His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.
He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
