With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Nancy has built a career successfully managing diversified portfolios for individuals, families, corporations, organizations, and trusts. Earning her bachelor’s degree from Hiram College, she went on to complete her Accredited Wealth Management Advisors designation from the Wharton School of Business.
Nancy began her career at McDonald and Company Securities before moving to Parker Hunter Investments which became Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC. She now serves as the Branch Manager at the Independence office of Janney.
Tim Novak attended Cleveland State University and received a B.A in economics. His financial career began with his internship at McDonald and Company in downtown Cleveland. Upon the completion of his internship, Tim joined Parker Hunter—which was acquired by Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in 2005. He later formed The Buck Group with advisor Nancy Buck. Tim and Nancy cohosted a radio show called “Investing” on Saturday mornings, where they would bring on guest speakers and talk about the markets. Tim has over 26 years of experience and enjoys analyzing historical financial charts.
Tim lives in Olmsted Falls with his wife Colleen and cat Leo. Outside of the office Tim can be seen golfing, boating, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends at his cottage in Sandusky. Tim has a passion for music and frequently attends concert with his son Nick and daughter Natalie.
Joy began her financial career starting as a bank teller in 1983. She became a financial advisor in 1993 and comes to work every day ready for the challenges the markets bring to her clients. She prides herself in her listening skills to her clients and building their financial futures around their risk and comfort in the marketplace. Taking the clients needs first and finding the products to match is what continues to motivate her 30 years later. Simply put, educate your client every time you speak with them.
Joy has her Series 7, 63, 65, and Annuity and Life Insurance License. Joy is licensed in states across the country from Florida to California. She earned her bachelor’s degree from David Myers University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She is proud to hold the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor Certification (AWMA®) which she earned through the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. She also carries the Certification of Charter Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and completed her Certification for Long-Term Care (CLTC®) in 2020.
Her outside interest includes owning alpacas for over 20 years; she enjoys working with their fiber/yarn. She also enjoys quilting which gives her a creative outlet. Joy resides in Wakeman on her 40-acre farm.

My focus areas align with what clients need. These include tax efficient investing and tax planning with regard to retirement savings and estate planning, as well as utilizing financial planning for small business owners to grow both their personal and business wealth.
Originally born and raised in Youngstown, my wife, daughter, and I currently reside in Fairview Park. Staying active in my local community, my family and I support our local animal shelters and are strong advocates for mental health organizations.
Alexis joined Janney in July of 2021 after graduating from the University of Akron where she received a B.B.A. in Financial Planning and a B.B.A. in Financial Management. Prior to working at Janney, Alexis completed an internship with Axias Wealth Advisors. As a private client assistant, Alexis specializes in client services, operations, and asset movement. She believes in the importance of financial literacy and has a keen eye for details. She enjoys working on financial plans to help clients achieve their short-term and long-term goals.
Alexis came from a military family with six siblings and loves spending time with her family, friends, and two cats. Outside of the office you can find her reading, watching scary movies, or travelling with those close to her. Her and her team volunteer at The Kids Book Bank to provide free books to children through Little Free Libraries.
As a Private Client Associate, Zack is responsible for managing aspects of the daily business operations for our clients. Often serving as the first point of contact, he helps maintain the high level of service we provide to our clients and plays a key role in administrative support.
Prior to joining Janney in 2022, Zack obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University with a concentration in Finance. Zack currently resides in Chardon, OH. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, golfing, or watching his favorite sports teams.

Dan Wantrobski is Director of Research at Janney Montgomery Scott and has over 20 years of industry experience as a technical analyst and strategist.
Mr. Wantrobski spent the first 10 years of his career at Paine Webber and UBS, where he developed his knowledge as a technician and macro strategist following the equity, fixed income, commodity, and currency markets. He has also spent time at Fox Pitt Kelton, Bedford Quantitative, and New Albion Partners. From 2008 to 2016, Mr. Wantrobski served as Janney’s technical strategist.
Mr. Wantrobski regularly comments in the media on key issues arising in the industry, with appearances in outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, The Philadelphia Inquirer, CNBC, Fox Business, and Bloomberg TV. He is also a frequent speaker at financial industry conferences, including the Ernst & Young Annual Firm Conference where he has served as a guest speaker for the last five years.
Mr. Wantrobski is a Chartered Market Technician ® (CMT) and attended Villanova University, graduating cum laude with a B.S. in Finance.
He currently resides in Moorestown, NJ where he volunteers as a firefighter with Relief Engine Co. 312.
Debra S. Roey joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in November 2006, as Janney Retirement Plan Services (JRPS) Manager. JRPS was founded in 1982 to provide Janney’s Corporate Retirement Plan Clients with support in plan design analysis, proposal procurement and review, investment fiduciary services, technical expertise, and problem resolution.
Debra has over 30 years of experience in the Retirement Plan arena. Prior to joining Janney, she served as Regional Director with Union Central Life Retirement and Investment Services. During her tenure, she received numerous sales awards including qualification for the company’s highest society membership. She also served on several corporate committees involved with Strategic Planning and Product Development.
Debra earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.
Greg Drahuschak joined Janney in 1991. He has over 45 years of economic experience and provides daily, weekly, and monthly market commentary, with a particular focus on the equity market, to Janney and our clients.
Prior to joining Janney, he worked as a retail broker with—and eventually transitioned into the research departments of—Butcher & Singer and Wheat First Securities. He was also an instructor at Robert Morris College and the University of Pittsburgh.
Greg has written articles for several newspapers and websites, and has been the featured financial professional on many live radio broadcasts.
He earned his B.A. in fine arts from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as certificates from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and from the New York Institute of Finance.
Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.
Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.
Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.
Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
Jay Guyer serves as Vice President, Senior Financial Planner in Janney Montgomery Scott’s Wealth Planning Department. He focuses on supporting the advanced financial planning efforts for the Firm’s Western region. In his role, Mr. Guyer serves as a resource for Financial Advisors working with complex client-planning needs to assist clients with meeting their goals and objectives. Mr. Guyer is based in Janney’s Pittsburgh, PA office.
Mr. Guyer has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Janney from M&T Bank/Wilmington Trust, where he served as a Senior Financial Planner supporting their Western Pennsylvania and New York branches. Prior to M&T Bank, he spent time as the Director of Financial Planning with Omega Bank in State College, PA. He also served as a Financial Planner with The Vanguard Group.
Mr. Guyer is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®). He also holds his Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses and earned the Pennsylvania Life, Accident & Health, Fixed and Variable Annuity licenses. Mr. Guyer received his JD and LLM in Tax Law from Taft Law School and has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Juniata College.
Kim Beil serves as Director of the Managed and Insured Solutions Group in Janney Montgomery Scott’s Wealth Management department. In this role, Ms. Beil oversees the daily activities of the Managed and Insured Solutions Group and is responsible for promoting both advisory and insured solutions for the firm.
Ms. Beil is an active member of the Firm, the industry, and is involved in several community organizations. At Janney, she is a member of the Firm’s Women’s Interactive Network (WIN). She is also a founding member for Girls on the Run Philadelphia, a non-profit program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Currently, she volunteers with the Neucrue Cancer Foundation.
A graduate of Drexel University, Mrs. Beil holds a B.S. in business administration, and has over 15 years of financial services industry experience at Janney. She is an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ (AWMA®), holds an insurance license, and is a LEADERSHIP Philadelphia Fellow.
In her spare time, Ms. Beil enjoys running and challenging herself in half marathons.
Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.
As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.
Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.
In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.
His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.
He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
Martin Schamis is responsible for the strategic direction of the Wealth Planning Team, supporting more than 850 Financial Advisors who advise Janney’s private retail client base.
Martin joined Janney from the Vanguard Group where he spent the majority of his 11-year tenure as Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Advice Services. Prior to Vanguard, Martin worked as a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley. Martin graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Art from the University of Delaware and received an MBA in Finance from St. Joseph’s University.
Mike Halloran serves as an Equity Strategist in Janney’s Investment Strategy Group. Bringing over 20 years of financial service experience to Janney’s established team of professionals, Mike analyzes all asset classes with particular emphasis on equity research.
Prior to Janney, Mike was Vice President of Market Strategy for BPU Investment Management Group, and was responsible for the development of the firm’s global outlook and implementation of numerous investment strategies. His previous experience includes performing equity research for large cap core and growth mutual funds, and working in PNC’s investment banking organization supporting M&A, high yield, private placement, loan syndication, and derivative security transactions. He is also an adjunct finance professor and former aerospace research engineer.
Mike received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
