ABOUT DAVID JENNINGS
David entered the Wealth Management business in 1996. He joined Janney in 2017, attracted to the boutique nature of the firm and accessibility to senior leadership and support teams in the home office. He had spent the previous 21 years with Merrill Lynch as a Senior Financial Advisor, earning accolades as a top wealth manager in Richmond and holding various leadership roles in the division.
In late 2019, David and fellow Janney Financial Advisor, John Phipps, formed Phipps Jennings Wealth Management, supported by Private Client Associate Kristina Weaver and Registered Private Client Associate Stephanie Wiseman. The team collectively brings almost 80 years of wealth management experience and manages over $750 million in client assets. David has been named to Janney’s President’s Club and Masters Club and is a regular attendee at The Janney Elite Financial Advisor conference in Philadelphia.
Outside the office, David has been active in numerous charitable and civic organizations, including the Ronald McDonald House, Bon Secours Hospital, Richmond Little League and Washington & Lee University. He enjoys spending time with his wife of 25 years, Caroline, and their two boys, Charlie and David.
