Michael Gochenour leads the Lantz & Gochenour Team with over 20 years of experience as a Financial Advisor. Mike’s passion is educating individuals about financial literacy. He focuses on comprehensive financial planning and investment advice for clients. Mike works in conjunction with clients' tax and legal advisors to ensure their tax and estate planning goals align. In addition to serving individuals, Mike enjoys working with local non-profits and foundations to assist in their philanthropic endeavors. He also works closely with many businesses in managing their retirement plans and 401(k)s.
Mike grew up in Edinburg, Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in finance. He holds his Series 7, 63, 65, and Life and Health Insurance licenses. He currently resides in Harrisonburg with his wife, daughter, and son.
Mike serves on the Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance Board and supports numerous community activities throughout the year, including The Great Community Give, Your Economic Success, First Tee – Shenandoah Valley, Shenandoah Valley Partnership, On the Road Collaborative, Harrisonburg/Rockingham County Boys and Girls Club, Harrisonburg Education Foundation, and Harrisonburg Children’s Museum. In his spare time, Mike enjoys playing basketball and rooting on his Virginia Cavaliers. He can also be found working on his family farm and is a 4-H All-Star. Mike was a board member of the Rockingham County Fair for 14 years and continues to support the local 4-H and FFA programs.
Mary Via serves as a Financial Advisor and has been with the Lantz & Gochenour Investment Group since its inception in 2004. Mary, a native of Harrisonburg, began her career in the financial services industry in 1998. Prior to that, she was a paralegal for a prominent regional law firm for nine years. She currently holds her Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65 licenses, along with her Life, Health and Annuity licenses. Additionally, she has been awarded the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) professional designation.
Mary focuses on asset allocation strategies, portfolio construction, investment advice, and risk management for both individuals and businesses. With over 25 years of industry and market cycle experience, she is dedicated to developing a thorough understanding of each client’s unique financial situation and designing strategies to help clients achieve their retirement and legacy goals. Mary’s passion for educating clients, along with her attention to detail, good listening skills and great empathy set her apart in providing exceptional client service. Fostering long-term personal relationships are at the center of Mary’s approach to guiding clients in growing, protecting, and preserving their wealth.
Mary enjoys watching local high school and college athletics, traveling and spending time with her husband, children, and Lab rescue. She and her husband keep especially busy watching their five grandchildren participate in activities and events throughout the Valley.
Jackie has been with the Lantz & Gochenour Investment Group since 2014. She has over a decade of experience in the banking and financial services industry and holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses. She leads the client servicing team and works closely with the advisors to ensure all client needs are exceeded. She provides clients with the highest level of service and care with a focus on retirement plans. Jackie also manages the trading platform for advisory accounts and coordinates research for special situations.
Jackie has lived her entire life in the Shenandoah Valley. She loves all sorts of various outdoor activities such as gardening, fishing, and hiking. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and daughters.
Constance joined Janney in the fall of 2018 adding over a decade of experience in the financial services industry to the team. Her friendly voice is the first you will hear when contacting the branch and she is always eager to assist you. Constance maintains the daily front office dynamics and procedures by managing the office meeting schedules and servicing client accounts. Constance is also the primary liaison for client transitions. She ensures your move to Janney is smooth and seamless.
When she is away from the office she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her son, and their Shih Tzu pup Oliver.
Hugh Lantz serves as Executive Vice President / Wealth Management and leads the Lantz & Gochenour Investment Group. Hugh grew up in Rockingham County, Virginia and has been working as a Financial Advisor for over 40 years. Hugh graduated from James Madison University, and uses his past experience as a teacher to help educate his clients on investments and other financial products available.
Hugh has been involved with many community outreach organizations. He also has served 12 years on the Harrisonburg City Council and as the vice mayor of the city. Hugh has two grown children. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, farming, and gardening.

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.
Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.
Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.
Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.
As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.
Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.
In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.
His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.
He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
