Our Team
Matthew and his wife, Kelly, are proud parents to two sons, Micah and Caleb. Their family resides in the Cotswold area of Charlotte.
With a career in the financial services industry that began in 1998, Matthew brings over two decades of experience to his role. Before joining Janney in 2006, he held positions at New York Life, Central Carolina Bank, Wachovia, and Bank of America’s Private Bank, where he gained extensive knowledge across a wide range of financial disciplines.
A graduate of Elon College, Matthew holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation, the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation, along with FINRA Series 7, 63, insurance and long-term care licenses. He is committed to offering clients a disciplined, structured approach to financial planning and investment management.

Matthew is actively involved in his community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Camp Rockmont. He served on the Charlotte Economics Club Board from 2023 - 2026. He is also a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum (Class XVI). From 2012 to 2016, he served on the Board of the Matthews HELP Center, acting as Board Chair in 2015.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time in the mountains with his family whenever possible.
Erin began her career in financial services immediately after college, discovering a passion for the industry during her first finance course. With more than 22 years of experience, her background spans client service, management, operations, and compliance - giving her a broad and nuanced perspective that supports the delivery of thoughtful, detail-oriented service to clients. She holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, 9 and 10 licenses, as well as Insurance and long-term care licenses.
She is known for her ability to navigate complex situations, anticipate client needs, and contribute to a seamless, high-touch client experience - drawing on the depth and breadth of her experience across multiple facets of the business.
Erin earned her degree in Finance from UNC Charlotte, graduating magna cum laude with Honors in Business. During her junior year, she was awarded the Glenn Whaley Memorial Scholarship, an honor she continues to value.
She lives with her husband, Adrian, and their young daughter, Alora, in a suburb south of Charlotte. Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs. She is an avid reader and enjoys watching movies and TV.
