Before world famous architect Philip Johnson became famous, he was commissioned in 1949 to design a house by Ruth and Benjamin Wolf. The house overlooked and featured a view of the mile wide section of the Hudson River. Many of the windows facing the river are six feet high and sixteen feet long. Our client Mike Wolf grew up in this home, and the house is now being restored to its original state and will soon become an art museum. View more photos of the Wolfhouse on their website.
