About W.
Carl Meyer joined Janney's Lancaster, Pennsylvania office in 2009. Throughout his career, Carl has developed a client-focused philosophy, which involves discussing with clients their current financial situation, as well as their future financial goals, and guiding them through investment recommendations that best suit their diverse needs.

Prior to joining Janney, Carl owned and operated a successful landscaping and excavation business in Chester County. Some of his projects include the Women's Humane Society in Bucks county, Pennsylvania. Carl sold his business in 1994 and entered the Financial Advisor Training Program while at Prudential Securities, and later earned his Wealth Management Specialist title during his time with Smith Barney. Understanding the long-term financial needs of his clients, Carl decided to move his practice to Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, where the innovative resources and client-centric culture allow him to select the solutions and services to meet those needs.

In his role as a Financial Advisor, Carl works closely with his clients and experienced Janney specialists in order to provide the highest quality service and advice - leading to unique relationships with each investor.

When he's not in the office, you can usually find Carl on his boat, fishing, riding his motorcycle, or spending time with his family.

About Marcy

For more than 25 years, Marcy has focused on providing comprehensive guidance and superior service on a wide array of financial, investment and retirement planning matters to individuals, families, retirees, and professionals who are concerned with maintaining their lifestyle from now through retirement. Attracted to the firm's size and client-focused approach, she joined Janney in 2009.

 

Marcy's business philosophy is to help clients attain their financial goals through each stage of life. To do this, she completes a customized comprehensive investment plan after listening to each client and focusing on their individual needs and goals. She uses her experience in finance and relevant market data, and works together with experienced financial experts at Janney. Marcy has dedicated her career to helping clients manage their financial needs and is committed to delivering personalized service to each client.

 

Marcy holds her bachelor's of science degree in Economics and Finance from York College of Pennsylvania, as well as her Series 7, 63, 65 and insurance licenses. Most recently, Marcy earned her certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC®) planning. She has also earned the prestigious designations of Accredited Wealth Management Advisor® (AWMA®) from the College for Financial Planning and Retirement Income Specialist (RIS).

 

Marcy resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with her husband and daughter. The family likes to travel and spend time outdoors. Marcy also enjoys volunteering at Keystone Church and with organizations in her community.

About Kaitlin

As a Private Client Associate, Kaitlin is responsible for managing all aspects of the daily business operations for Meyer LePrell Wealth Advisors and serves as the first line of contact for our clients. With nearly 14 years in the financial services industry, Kaitlin has impeccable attention to detail and is committed to going above and beyond to service the needs of our clients.

 

Outside of the office Kaitlin is an active member of her community, serving as a Committee Member of Spin 4 Gin, a non-profit organization that spreads awareness for rare sarcoma cancers in honor of her late best friend. Kaitlin also served as a mentor for Big Brother Big Sisters of Philadelphia in the Beyond School Walls program for over five years.

 

Kaitlin currently lives in Lititz. She enjoys traveling, following Philly sports, and being outside playing with her year old Golden Retriever, Birdie.

About Guy

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.

 

Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.

 

Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.

 

Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

About Mark

Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.

 

As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.

 

Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.

 

In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.

 

His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.

 

He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
