About Gregory

Gregory C. Nappo has over twenty-five years of experience in the financial service industry and has been with Janney since 2002. Gregory joined Janney because he admired the company’s emphasis on client service in an industry filled with large investment banks that often lose focus on individual clients.

 

Gregory attended CUNY College of Staten Island, earned his Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM (AAMS)   accreditation at the College for Financial Planning, his Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) through the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and his ® Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional designation through Pace University.

 

Gregory makes it his mission to provide the highest level of financial service to his clients and has delivered on that mission consistently throughout his career having reached master level rewards numerous times in each of the last five years. Gregory prides himself on putting the interest of his clients ahead of his own.

 

Outside of the office, Gregory serves on the board of directors of ‘Reachout’ a non-profit organization that helps families with autistic children. Gregory loves endurance sports like running, biking, and swimming and has participated in multiple marathons and triathlons. Gregory has completed the New York City Triathlon nine times and has a goal to do it a tenth.

 

Gregory has been happily married for 32 years and has three children, all of whom graduated from the University of Connecticut. The oldest of Gregory’s three children, Gregory K, is also a registered financial advisor at the firm.

About Gregory
Gregory joined Nappo Wealth Advisory Group following a prestigious baseball career marked by success at both the collegiate and professional level. After graduating from the University of Connecticut where he was an All Big East selection, Gregory was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 2011 MLB draft. Between 2011 and 2017 Gregory played with various teams within the Marlins organization as well as the Colombian national team in the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Gregory retired from baseball in 2017 to focus on Nappo Wealth Advisory Group where he applies the same team oriented mindset he used on the field to helping his clients reach their financial and personal goals.  In addition to baseball Gregory enjoys golf, fitness, board games, travel, and literature.  He currently lives in New Haven with his wife Kimberly.

About Dara

Dara joined the team at Nappo Wealth Advisory Group in July of 2018 after spending 10 years with Prudential Annuities and 7 years with Peoples United Bank. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Haven. Dara holds the following professional designations: Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Accredited Wealth Management Advisor ℠ (AWMA) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor ℠ (CRPC).

 

Dara strives to provide exceptional financial service to help families navigate their journey through life and takes a client first approach predicated upon not making assumptions and taking time to truly understand the client’s personal and professional goals. 

 

In her free time Dara loves to travel, read, and volunteer. Dara currently serves on the Board of Directors for:

Leeway Inc., an organization that cares for the individuals and families suffering with the HIV/AIDS virus in the New Haven community and New Haven Reads, an organization that increases the literacy skills of children by providing individually tailored one-on-one after school tutoring, educational family support, and a community book bank, all at no cost to participants.
