Securities-based lending
Securities-based lending can bridge the gap for your cash flow needs for unexpected purchases or managing taxes and can provide necessary cash flow to finance businesses, education, or other needs. Securities-based lending can also be used as part of your long-term investment strategy. Borrowing against securities may not be appropriate for everyone. You should be aware that there are risks associated with a securities-based loan, including possible maintenance calls on short notice, and that market conditions can magnify any potential for loss. We offer two solutions:
Margin Loans
A margin loan at Janney can provide the opportunity for you to access liquidity by leveraging the power of your investment portfolio with little to no paperwork and no credit check. Margin offers you the ability to access funds for the purchase of securities in your portfolio, or other short-term borrowing needs.
Securities-Based Loans
Securities-based loans provide you an additional option to leverage your investment portfolio for short-term borrowing needs. A short application and soft credit check are required. Proceeds cannot be used to purchase securities, and there is a $250,000 minimum loan value.

Benefit from residential real estate and unsecured loan opportunities in real time with pricing and terms to help you select your best financing options.
Residential Real Estate
Refinancing your mortgage? Purchasing a second home? We can connect you to a variety of residential real estate lenders who can work with you on a convenient digital platform to meet your lending needs. This includes evaluating your existing mortgage to determine if you can get a better rate. Mortgages may be available up to a maximum loan value of $5 million and are subject to underwriting and a credit check directly with the lender.
Unsecured Loans
Get the cash you need for unexpected expenses, debt consolidation, and more in a timely fashion without the need for collateral. Janney offers unsecured loans up to $100,000 from multiple loan providers.
