Opened in 2004, the Mary Black Rail Trail transformed a former railroad corridor into a roughly two-mile trail just south of Downtown Spartanburg. Today, it has become a favorite local spot for walking, running, biking, and spending a little time outdoors.
Along the way, youโll find plenty of reasons to slow down and explore, including Rail Yard Park, the Rail Tail dog park, the Carolina Panthers Play 60 Park, and the Spartanburg Bike Park.
