John joined Janney in 2009. He is a Vice President / Wealth Management, Financial Advisor, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® professional. John focuses on managing the team’s 401(k) and retirement plan business. John also provides individualized investment recommendations based on the individual needs and goals of the team's clients. John began his career at GE Capital in 2000, and he joined the Strange Wealth Advisory Group in March of 2002 at Legg Mason.
John graduated with a BA in Economics and Government from the College of William and Mary in 2000. He is a licensed insurance agent, and holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses. John and his wife Heather live in Westover Hills with their daughter Virginia and son James.
Melissa joined the Strange Wealth Advisory Group in 2015 and serves as First Vice President / Wealth Management, Financial Advisor. Melissa delivers a process-oriented and personalized approach to each client relationship, with an emphasis on holistic financial planning. Melissa began her investment career in 2006 at Davenport & Company, a regional brokerage firm. Prior to joining Janney, Melissa was a Vice President of Investor Relations with Private Advisors, a $6 billion alternative investment management firm based in Richmond. In this role, Melissa worked with a variety of investors that included high net worth individuals, foundations, endowments, pension funds, and more.
Melissa is a Certified Financial PlannerTM, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, and an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠.
Melissa was recognized by Forbes as a Best-in-State Women Wealth Advisor in 2023 and 2024, Forbes Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisor in 2023, and recognized by AdvisorHub as one of their 50 Next-Gen Advisors to Watch in 2023.
Melissa graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Economics. She holds her Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses, and is a licensed insurance agent. Melissa and her husband Ted live in Midlothian with their three sons, Harrison, Clay and Grayson.
Niki joined The Lindbloom Group in 2014 with over 8 years of previous experience in financial services. She strongly believes in taking a personal approach to financial planning by developing a relationship with clients and finds true satisfaction in helping them realize their financial goals. Niki is passionate about getting more people to think and talk about money, especially women and those who are just starting out in their careers. She relies on her deep subject matter knowledge in financial planning and client relationship management to tailor specialized financial solutions for each client. Niki is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and also holds the distinctive Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) designation, demonstrating extensive knowledge of the wealth management process, including tax planning, college savings, and estate planning. She is also proud to serve on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Central Virginia.
Niki is originally from Burlington, Vermont, but migrated south to East Carolina University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. She currently resides in the Fan District with her husband, Jack. Together, they enjoy all that Richmond has to offer, including its history, culture, and dining. They love to travel, both abroad and throughout the U.S.
Philip has eleven years of experience in the financial services industry. He started his career at Morgan Keegan & Company in 2004 before transitioning to Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in 2011. Philip is a student of the investment world. He uses a combination of technical and fundamental analysis to tailor client recommendations. He believes in contrary investing, and holds the opinion that technical analysis can uncover fundamentally want is happening in the marketplace. Philip focuses on analyzing trends in stock, bond, commodity, and option markets. Philip holds the Series 7, Series 66, and Life & Health Insurance designations. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond in 2003. Philip resides in Richmond, Va., with his wife Jill and children Luke and Juliet.

David joined Janney in 2017, attracted to the boutique nature of the firm and accessibility to the senior leadership and support teams in the home office. He had spent the previous 21 years with Merrill Lynch as a Senior Financial Advisor, earning accolades as a Top Wealth Manager in Richmond and holding various leadership roles in the division.
Outside of the office, David is active in a number of civic and charitable organizations, as a volunteer with Ronald McDonald House and Bon Secours Hospital, and as a coach of the St. Michael’s middle school golf team and Richmond Little League.
David is a graduate of Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA, and stays involved in alumni relations by acting as Alumni Liaison on the Washington & Lee Regional Alumni Board and working with the Washington & Lee Alumni Admissions program.
David and his college sweetheart, Caroline, have been married for over 20 years and reside in Richmond with their two boys and dog. They enjoy traveling, golfing, and skiing.

Ethan entered the wealth management field in 2004 and quickly learned that the human connection is the bedrock of doing well for clients. Recognizing that every individual brings a different philosophy to wealth, money, and philanthropy, Ethan develops financial and life plans from a blank canvas. He is a dedicated resource in the areas of conventional investments, alternative investments, wealth transfer, real estate, retirement income, long-term care planning, and small business strategy and planning. After completing highly demanding and extensive curricula, Ethan achieved the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional designation as well as Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®). He also holds the Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC®) designation.
Prior to joining Chris, Ethan worked at the Virginia House of Delegates for eight annual legislative sessions. He studied French at University of Richmond and still enjoys practicing his foreign language skills with anyone who will indulge him. He also earned Master of Business Administration degree from Drexel University. He loves the mountains and outdoor activities, especially mountain biking, hiking, and fly fishing. He is a board member for Opportunity Alliance Re-Entry (OAR) and The Virginia Home. In addition, he is a founding partner of Outpost Richmond and Current Culture Fly Shop.
Ethan lives in the Museum District with his wife Shannon and two daughters, Claire and Alice. He is a passionate believer in Richmond’s viability as a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family, and he supports organizations that share this vision.

John’s accomplished career began in 1984 in the financial services industry. John spent the first three years of his career as a Financial Advisor for Paine Weber Jackson & Curtis. John moved on to become the 1st V.P./Investments at Legg Mason Wood Walker, where he would excel until 2005 and spend nine years on the Presidents Council. He then transitioned to be a Senior V.P./Investments for Smith Barney over the next four years, again serving on the Presidents Council for two of them. Attracted to Janney Montgomery Scott because of the firm’s client-centric mission and its open investment architecture, Janney is proud to have John as a Senior Vice President/Wealth Management since April, 2009.
John earned his bachelors degree in Business Administration & Management at the Virginia Commonwealth University, with a minor degree in Economics. A strong proponent of community involvement, John served on the Board of Directors for St. Michael’s Episcopal School from 2005-2010. He has served as a member of the Executive Committee, Building Committee, Chairman of the Finance Committee and as Treasurer. John currently serves on the VCU Athletic's Advisory Board.

Kate Schiefelbein joined the Strange Wealth Advisory Group in 2022 and serves as Associate Vice President / Wealth Management, Financial Advisor. Previously, Kate was with Truist Wealth (formerly BB&T Scott & Stringfellow) as a Financial Advisor. Kate and the team offer a client-centered, service-oriented approach to investment management, focusing on helping clients make their financial decisions within the context of their lifetime goals and ambitions.
Having a strong interest in her community, Kate has previously served as Treasurer of the board of trustees for Orchard House Middle School, a middle school for girls in Richmond. She is a former member of Richmond’s Junior League, an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through effective action and leadership. Kate served as Chair of the Young Professionals Leadership Council for the Virginia Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2022-2023 and currently serves as Chair of the Tomorrow's Leaders initiative with CFF. She was nominated as one of Richmond’s Finest 2019 by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as an outstanding professional in her community.

Allan graduated from East Tennessee State University. An avid golfer, Allan played professionally for 3 years after college. He was the founder and first president of the Metropolitan Richmond Sports Backers. Akin to Janney’s long standing commitment to community, Allan is active in many local charities by assisting with fund raising efforts. Lindsay is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and has been in the financial services industry for over 15 years. Prior to joining Janney, she served as a Financial Consultant at Fidelity Investments. Lindsay will be servicing clients and their families alongside John Baron with dedicated financial and retirement planning services. She provides strong communication and a strategic approach to creating plans with clients to help achieve their lifetime goals and financial independence.
Lindsay graduated from the College of Charleston with a BA in Political Science in 1999 and earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Richmond in 2019. Lindsay holds life, health and annuity insurance licenses, and Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Lindsay and her husband, Nick live in Bon Air with their children, Robert and Lillian.

Debra S. Roey joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in November 2006, as Janney Retirement Plan Services (JRPS) Manager. JRPS was founded in 1982 to provide Janney’s Corporate Retirement Plan Clients with support in plan design analysis, proposal procurement and review, investment fiduciary services, technical expertise, and problem resolution.
Debra has over 30 years of experience in the Retirement Plan arena. Prior to joining Janney, she served as Regional Director with Union Central Life Retirement and Investment Services. During her tenure, she received numerous sales awards including qualification for the company’s highest society membership. She also served on several corporate committees involved with Strategic Planning and Product Development.
Debra earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.
Greg Drahuschak joined Janney in 1991. He has over 45 years of economic experience and provides daily, weekly, and monthly market commentary, with a particular focus on the equity market, to Janney and our clients.
Prior to joining Janney, he worked as a retail broker with—and eventually transitioned into the research departments of—Butcher & Singer and Wheat First Securities. He was also an instructor at Robert Morris College and the University of Pittsburgh.
Greg has written articles for several newspapers and websites, and has been the featured financial professional on many live radio broadcasts.
He earned his B.A. in fine arts from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as certificates from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and from the New York Institute of Finance.
Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.
Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.
Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.
Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
Jack Cintorino, based out of the Alexandria, VA branch, provides assistance and support in many aspects of financial planning to Janney’s Financial Advisors and their clients. Prior to joining Janney, Jack was employed at AXA since October 2012 as Director / Lead Manager and Senior Case Design Consultant focusing on Estate and Charitable Planning. He holds a BA degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook, and Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Touro College School of Law.
Jack has been a featured guest on a cable television investment program, has had several articles published within the industry, and has been a guest speaker at numerous industry and public seminars.
Kim Beil serves as Director of the Managed and Insured Solutions Group in Janney Montgomery Scott’s Wealth Management department. In this role, Ms. Beil oversees the daily activities of the Managed and Insured Solutions Group and is responsible for promoting both advisory and insured solutions for the firm.
Ms. Beil is an active member of the Firm, the industry, and is involved in several community organizations. At Janney, she is a member of the Firm’s Women’s Interactive Network (WIN). She is also a founding member for Girls on the Run Philadelphia, a non-profit program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Currently, she volunteers with the Neucrue Cancer Foundation.
A graduate of Drexel University, Mrs. Beil holds a B.S. in business administration, and has over 15 years of financial services industry experience at Janney. She is an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ (AWMA®), holds an insurance license, and is a LEADERSHIP Philadelphia Fellow.
In her spare time, Ms. Beil enjoys running and challenging herself in half marathons.
Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.
As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.
Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.
In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.
His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.
He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
Robert Wheeler serves as a Regional Director for Janney’s Insured Solutions Group. In this role, he is responsible for developing annuity and insurance opportunities, providing a consultative approach and external support to the region’s Financial Advisors as they address their client’s financial needs.

Mr. Wheeler has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services and investment industry. Before joining Janney in 2019, he was a Market Leader with BB&T Bank and a Regional Vice President with the John Hancock Life Insurance Company.
Education and Personal Background
Mr. Wheeler holds Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations from The American College. He has a B.A. from Syracuse University.
In his spare time, Mr. Wheeler is active with the Boy Scouts and Amazing Tails Service Dogs. He lives in New London, PA with his wife, Leslie, and their sons, Collin and Dean.
