Highly attentive and responsive to the needs of our clients and their families, Jess takes an educational approach to guiding them toward financial security and a rewarding life path. They trust her professionalism, confidentiality, and ability to help them address all aspects of their financial lives.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Jess earned her bachelor's degree in Business. She started her financial services career with Vanguard in 1998, and worked at Merrill Lynch prior to joining Janney in 2009.
Jess is a dedicated supporter of local non-profit organizations: AACR, The Wistar Institute, Unite for Her, Legacy of Hope, and the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia.
Jess and her partner Dave embrace the coastal lifestyle by spending time near and on the water. They are members of the Cape May Tuna and Marlin club and enjoy fishing and outdoor activities with their five nieces and nephews. Off the water, Jess is an avid Philadelphia sports fan; she has been an Eagles season ticket owner for over twenty years, and travels with her family to see Phillies games in different cities.
Multiple generations of clients have grown to appreciate Janet’s focus on protecting their families’ financial well-being and legacy wealth planning.
With a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a MBA in finance from Drexel University, Janet’s finance career began with Merrill Lynch in 1981. She completed the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) certification at the College for Financial Planning in 2007 and joined Janney in 2009.
A patron of the Philadelphia and New York theatre communities, Janet served on the board of The Simpatico Theatre Project from 2016 to 2022. She is a founding and supporting member of the Barnes Foundation, and has been a member of the Philadelphia Museum of Art for nearly 40 years.
Raised in a home where she was encouraged to pursue her dreams, Janet supports many feminist causes. She has enjoyed participating in her book club for 30 years and has practiced yoga for the past 25 years. Janet has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and even to India. Renee is the Senior Private Client Associate for Riser Hartman Wealth Advisors.
In her role, Renee is the first point of contact for all clients, anticipating their needs and developing a plan to deliver exceptional service and meet their financial goals. She brings over 35 years of experience to the role; prior to joining Janney, Renee worked in a similar capacity at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.
Renee enjoys reading, traveling, and going to the Jersey Shore with her husband and family.
Natalie joined Riser Hartman Wealth Advisors in 2019 after graduating from Furman University in South Carolina, where she earned her BA in Communications.
Enthusiastic and personable, she focuses on providing clients with the very best possible service. She is an avid traveler and has spent several months in countries such as Australia, China, Italy, and Cuba. When she's not in the office, you can find Natalie by the beach or playing tennis.
Natalie prides herself on giving back to the community by volunteering for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. She lives in Philadelphia and is a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Nate brings a dynamic blend of academic excellence and practical expertise to the team at Riser Hartman Wealth Advisors. With a BS in Finance and Financial Planning from the University of Delaware, his commitment to excellence is evident. He's not just about meeting expectations; he's dedicated to exceeding them. Having recently acquired his SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 qualifications, Nate demonstrates a firm grasp of securities trading and investment advisory services. His pursuit of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification underscores his dedication to providing comprehensive financial solutions. Nate is driven by a passion for empowering clients to navigate their financial landscapes confidently.

As a Private Client Associate, Kaitlin is responsible for managing all aspects of the daily business operations for Riser Hartman Wealth Advisors and serves as the first line of contact for our clients. With over 15 years in the financial services industry, Kaitlin has impeccable attention to detail and is committed to going above and beyond to service the needs of our clients.
Outside of the office Kaitlin is an active member of her community, serving as a Committee Member of Spin 4 Gin, a non-profit organization that spreads awareness for rare sarcoma cancers in honor of her late best friend. Kaitlin also served as a mentor for Big Brother Big Sisters of Philadelphia in the Beyond School Walls program for over five years.
Kaitlin currently lives in Washington Twp, NJ. She enjoys traveling with her family, cheering on Philly sports, and taking her dogs Birdie and Rocky to the beach.

Debra S. Roey joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in November 2006, as Janney Retirement Plan Services (JRPS) Manager. JRPS was founded in 1982 to provide Janney’s Corporate Retirement Plan Clients with support in plan design analysis, proposal procurement and review, investment fiduciary services, technical expertise, and problem resolution.
Debra has over 30 years of experience in the Retirement Plan arena. Prior to joining Janney, she served as Regional Director with Union Central Life Retirement and Investment Services. During her tenure, she received numerous sales awards including qualification for the company’s highest society membership. She also served on several corporate committees involved with Strategic Planning and Product Development.
Debra earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.
Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.
Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.
Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.
Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.
As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.
Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.
In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.
His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.
He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
