About Joshua

Joshua Scheinker serves as Executive Vice President/Wealth Management and focuses on a family office approach with his high net worth clients. He specializes in creating retirement plans and designing investment strategies using options, ETFs, mutual funds and other alternative investments.

 

Joshua is a graduate of Emory University’s Roberto C. Goizueta Business School and like his father, has earned recognition and awards through a number of investment firms. Josh was a member of Smith Barney’s exclusive President’s Council and was certified a Wealth Management Specialist at Legg Mason. Josh has also been quoted in Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, and the Baltimore Business Journal. More recently, he was also featured in two stories in the Wall Street Journal about wealth creation and marketing strategies.

 

Josh was selected as one of the Best-In-State Wealth Advisors by Forbes & SHOOK Research for five years running. Josh currently serves a member of the Board of Trustees of the St. Paul’s Schools. Most recently, he became a Board Member of CraniUS, LLC, a med tech company pursuing FDA approval and commercialization of a proprietary drug device that will benefit millions of Americans. He also serves on the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation Annual College Season Tip-Off Committee.  

 

Previously, he served as President of the Alumni Board of St. Paul's School for Boys and has led their 800 attendee Brooklandwood Bash. He is a former Board Member of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America - Maryland Chapter and has chaired their Spotlight Gala. He was also the Revenue Chair of the 2015 Green Valley North Turkey Trot. Josh formerly served on the Investment Committee of Jemicy School and Miles That Matter | Ulman Cancer Center. Josh lives in Lutherville with his fiancée Melissa, their four kids, two Golden Retrievers and a Great Dane.

About Todd

Todd began his career at Alex. Brown & Sons in 1992 on the Equity Trading desk and achieved Principal status before joining Wachovia as a Managing Director. After receiving his MBA in 2003, Todd joined Equity Capital Markets at Wachovia focusing on corporate positioning, capital raising strategies, stock buy-back strategies and activist shareholder strategies.


With over 30 years of experience that includes institutional asset management, private wealth management, investment banking and equity trading, Todd believes strongly in creating value for clients and their investment portfolios by building relationships of trust while thoroughly understanding their life goals. Prior to joining Janney, Todd worked at Corbyn Investment Management with private clients, institutional clients, independent advisors, charitable organizations and family offices to focus on their fixed income portfolios, particularly in the high-yield sector.


Todd and his wife Shawna live in Cockeysville with their three children. He graduated from Washington & Lee University and received his MBA from the RH Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

About Larry

Larry Seiden provides comprehensive financial planning services including advice on investments, insurance, retirement planning, tax planning, and estate planning. With many years of experience Larry has served in various roles on both the individual and institutional sides of the business with JPMorgan Chase, Union Bank of Switzerland, Thomson Reuters, and MetLife. Most recently, Larry served as a Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs prior to joining Janney in 2023.


Larry's deep passion for education led to a Master of Business Administration degree with a Finance concentration from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Science in Business degree with Finance and Economics majors from Virginia Tech. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner and holds the ChFC®, CLU®, RICP®, and CAP® Designations obtained through The American College of Financial Services.


Larry is a member of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and the Baltimore Estate Planning Council and holds the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) designation. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, golfing, cycling and reading about the financial markets and world history.

About Jordan

Jordan Higgins joined Janney as a member of an established team of financial professionals, Scheinker Legacy Wealth Advisors, in 2024. She gravitated toward the Scheinker team based on their exceptional backgrounds and shared interest in improving the lives and legacies of clients. Jordan was also attracted to the accessibility of Janney’s home office resources, enhancing her ability to provide clients the high level of service they deserve.


As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Jordan is passionate about helping clients problem solve and optimize efficiencies through the financial planning process. She values the privilege of building a strong relationship with her clients, and being present alongside them, whether celebrating momentous occasions or enduring life’s challenges.


Prior to joining Janney, Jordan began her career at Whirlpool Corporation before transitioning to personal financial services through a role at Morgan Stanley. She then spent 10 years at Fidelity Investments. Jordan graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts from the Mendoza College of Business. In addition to her CFP® certification, Jordan also holds her Series 7, Series 66, life, health, and annuity licenses.


Jordan lives in Lutherville with her husband Pat, dog George, and two young daughters. Mindful of how quickly the early years pass, she spends her free time with family, striving to ingrain the memories with eldest Caroline, who is caring and adventurous, and youngest Charlotte, who is affectionate and independent. When time allows, Jordan’s hobbies include hitting the tennis court and occasionally joining Pat at the driving range.

Michael Adler joined the financial industry upon graduating from The University of Maryland in 2018 with a degree in Economics, where he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team. Michael’s passion is working with people through all stages of life to uncover their goals and create customized solutions to help achieve them. Michael joins the team after working as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch. Michael’s experience in lending, banking and advisory will serve valuable in the team’s effort to provide a high level of care to clients.


A New Jersey native, Michael relocated to Baltimore in 2018 and remains close to the lacrosse community. In his free time, Michael enjoys golfing, distance running, hiking, cooking, and snowboarding.

Carrie is a Baltimore native and alumnus of Maryvale Preparatory. She prides herself on customer care and putting the client first. Her goal is to help build and strengthen the team as well as develop relationships with each client to provide a level of service that goes beyond the clients’ expectations. Prior to joining Janney and Scheinker Legacy Wealth Advisors, Carrie worked on the Operations and Administrative side of the Mortgage Industry for 20 years.

 

Carrie and her husband Brian live in Perry Hall with their three children Olivia, Gemma & Madalyn. While not working, Carrie enjoys golfing, swimming, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

About Guy

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.

 

Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.

 

Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.

 

Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

About Mark

Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.

 

As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.

 

Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.

 

In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.

 

His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.

 

He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
