The North Fork Breast Health Coalition is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to helping identify the causes of breast cancer, as well as to educating women about the importance of self-breast exams and annual mammograms as preventative measures. The 5k at Tanger was held on September 26th. The funds that the coalition raises go directly to programs that provide aid to patients on the North Fork who are receiving treatment for breast cancer.
