About Gary

Gary began his career in the financial services industry with John Hancock in 1988, after spending several years as an applications engineer for Multiwire Corporation. He is a Certified Financial Planner™(CFP®) professional and holds the designation of Master Planner Advanced Studies (MPAS®), having earned his master’s degree in financial planning. Gary is a member of the not-for-profit Financial Planning Association, as well as its local Long Island chapter. Gary holds degrees in electrical engineering technology and business management and economics. Gary has been recognized as a top Financial Advisor in New York on the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list, and along with the rest of the Simmons Point Group, a Best-In-State Wealth Management Team in New York.

Gary’s twin daughters, Grace and Rebecca, who have both attended Adelphi University, are his universe. They can often be found together attending live theatre and concerts. When away from work, Gary enjoys golfing, photography and cooking for family and friends.

About Brett

Brett began his career as an attorney having received his JD from Hofstra Law School. Early on however, Brett realized he was destined for his greater love, a career in finance. He joined Bruns, Nordeman, Rea & Co. as a financial advisor in 1981 followed by affiliations with Prudential Securities and Wachovia until joining Janney Montgomery Scott in 2006. Brett is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) and holds the coveted Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) certification. 

As a serious student of history, interest rates, and behavioral finance, Brett helps his clients navigate through the noise of algorithmic trading, conflicting pundits, and market volatility in line with a client’s individualized financial plan.

Outside the office, Brett loves reading good narrative history, is a member of The American Revolutionary War Club, and enjoys touring historic battlefields. When not on the battlefield, he is fond of dining out with his charming wife and enjoys a good glass of cabernet.

About Craig

From a young age, Craig watched his father help people in the Financial Services Industry and was inspired to follow in his footsteps. Within the Simmons Point Group, he works closely with the team to research and custom-tailor investment strategies for each client, catering to their needs and long-term goals. Craig graduated from AACSB accredited Siena College School of Business with a B.S. in Marketing and Management. Craig has received his Accredited Wealth Management Advisor ( AWMA ®) certification, and is currently pursuing a Certified Financial Planner™ certification. While at Siena, Craig served as captain of the lacrosse team, winning two MAAC championships during his career. To this day, he continues to remain active in the Siena alumni network. He also serves as an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Craig has been recognized as a top Financial Advisor in New York on the Forbes Best-In-State Next-Gen Wealth Advisors list.

 

Craig and his wife Lauren were married in 2017 and now reside on the South Shore of Long Island where they are proud parents of their daughters, Mackenzie and Avery. In his free time, you can find Craig entertaining friends and family or supporting his beloved NY sports teams.

John R. Cortapasso Jr. began his career with Janney in 2017. He graduated from Queens College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. John followed his father’s footsteps and obtained his Certified Financial Planner certification(CFP®). In addition to his CFP, John holds his Accredited Wealth Management Advisor certification (AWMA ®) and Certification for Long-Term Care (CLTC®). John’s entrepreneurial spirit is highlighted daily through the work ethic and customer service experience he obtained from owning his own restaurant prior to joining the financial services industry. He applies these attributes to ensure that he provides his clients the quality of care they deserve.

John and his wife, Dana, were married in 2015 and are the proud parents of Gabriella, Francesca, and Julianna. When he has free time you can find John on the golf course, rooting for the Jets, Mets, and Rangers, whipping up a culinary masterpiece, but nothing excites him more than spending quality time with his family.

About Michael

After graduating from Wittenberg University in 1999, Michael began his career in financial services. He completed his Master of Business Administration in 2010 and is currently pursuing a Certified Financial Planner™ certification.

Prior to joining Gary’s team, Michael worked as a Senior Complex Service Manager for Morgan Stanley in Western Long Island. He was responsible for overseeing over 150 employees, as well as the operations and financials for the complex.

Michael and his wife, Kristen and daughter, Kate live in Mattituck on the North Fork of Long Island. He has the pleasure of serving as an active volunteer fireman, board member of True Light Church, board member of the Mattituck/Cutchogue Athletic Booster Club, President and founder of the Mattituck/Cutchogue Academic Booster club, and President and co-founder of Ryan’s Team, a local charity created in honor of his son, Ryan.

Prior to joining Janney, he worked for Morgan Stanley, as well as its predecessor Smith Barney.

With fond memories of evenings spent enjoying dinner and a show with his wife Lauren, the couple is now blessed with twins Peyton and Colton and all the joys and challenges parenthood brings.

Kate Stiegelbauer Fortuna has worked in the financial services industry for over 38 years. Prior to joining Janney, Kate served as a Branch Operations/Compliance Manager where she obtained several licenses and certifications. Kate opted to step down from her management role and join Janney as a Private Client Associate in 2011 to help both clients and advisors work towards their goals. Kate prides herself on her knowledge of the industry and her availability to answer any questions that clients may have.

In her free time Kate enjoys sculpting, and spending time by the pool or the ocean. She lives on the north shore of Long Island with her husband, Ron.

Shana has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry while working at Oppenheimer, MetLife and First Empire Securities

before joining Janney in 2018. She holds Life, Accident and Health licenses and is also a Notary Public. Shana is the primary point of contact

for administrative functions and serves as Branch Technology Leader, incorporating technological updates into the team’s practice.

Shana and her fiancé, Victor, along with son, Jionni, and daughter, Luciana, live on the south shore of Long Island. Together, they enjoy

attending basketball games, concerts, spending summers at the beach and winters in the Poconos. In the community, Shana participates in

raising funds and awareness for the Annual Jones Beach Autism Walk along with various local food charities.

About Matthew

Matthew is a graduate of St John’s University with a B.A in Finance. He holds the Series 7, Series 66, Life and Health Insurance licenses. Prior to joining Janney, Matt held internships with Raymond James and Baycrest LLC where he specialized in research. He is currently pursuing an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) and Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) certification. Growing up Matt was surrounded by his family’s restaurant business where he learned from the bottom up about management, work ethic, and customer service.

In his free time Matt enjoys spending time with family, reading, playing baseball/basketball, or watching his favorite sports teams in the Giants, Mets, and Nets.

Grace is a graduate of Adelphi University's Willumstad School of Business with a B.S. in Business Marketing. She previously held an internship with The Simmons Point Group, and is now eager to officially be a part of the team. Grace grew up observing the industry by watching her father work, and became interested in the different roles and positions that could help the business to function, and making a difference in client's lives.


Grace lives on the East End of Long Island, where she is heavily involved in the arts community, participating in live music and theatre events. She loves to cook, and can frequently be found experimenting in the kitchen in her free time, as well as spending time with friends and family.

About Debra

Debra S. Roey joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in November 2006, as Janney Retirement Plan Services (JRPS) Manager. JRPS was founded in 1982 to provide Janney’s Corporate Retirement Plan Clients with support in plan design analysis, proposal procurement and review, investment fiduciary services, technical expertise, and problem resolution.

 

Debra has over 30 years of experience in the Retirement Plan arena. Prior to joining Janney, she served as Regional Director with Union Central Life Retirement and Investment Services. During her tenure, she received numerous sales awards including qualification for the company’s highest society membership. She also served on several corporate committees involved with Strategic Planning and Product Development.

 

Debra earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Greg Drahuschak joined Janney in 1991. He has over 45 years of economic experience and provides daily, weekly, and monthly market commentary, with a particular focus on the equity market, to Janney and our clients.

 

Prior to joining Janney, he worked as a retail broker with—and eventually transitioned into the research departments of—Butcher & Singer and Wheat First Securities. He was also an instructor at Robert Morris College and the University of Pittsburgh.

 

Greg has written articles for several newspapers and websites, and has been the featured financial professional on many live radio broadcasts. 

 

He earned his B.A. in fine arts from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as certificates from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and from the New York Institute of Finance.

About Guy

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.

 

Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.

 

Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.

 

Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Jack Cintorino, based out of the Alexandria, VA branch, provides assistance and support in many aspects of financial planning to Janney’s Financial Advisors and their clients. Prior to joining Janney, Jack was employed at AXA since October 2012 as Director / Lead Manager and Senior Case Design Consultant focusing on Estate and Charitable Planning. He holds a BA degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook, and Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Touro College School of Law.

 

Jack has been a featured guest on a cable television investment program, has had several articles published within the industry, and has been a guest speaker at numerous industry and public seminars.

About Kim

Kim Beil serves as Director of the Managed and Insured Solutions Group in Janney Montgomery Scott’s Wealth Management department. In this role, Ms. Beil oversees the daily activities of the Managed and Insured Solutions Group and is responsible for promoting both advisory and insured solutions for the firm.

 

Ms. Beil is an active member of the Firm, the industry, and is involved in several community organizations. At Janney, she is a member of the Firm’s Women’s Interactive Network (WIN). She is also a founding member for Girls on the Run Philadelphia, a non-profit program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Currently, she volunteers with the Neucrue Cancer Foundation.

 

A graduate of Drexel University, Mrs. Beil holds a B.S. in business administration, and has over 15 years of financial services industry experience at Janney. She is an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ (AWMA®), holds an insurance license, and is a LEADERSHIP Philadelphia Fellow.

 

In her spare time, Ms. Beil enjoys running and challenging herself in half marathons.

About Mark

Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.

 

As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.

 

Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.

 

In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.

 

His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.

 

He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
