The week before Thanksgiving, Janney Montgomery Scott of Williamsville New York held an event at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens. It was a collaborative endeavor put together by many.
The concept was an invitation for our clients to enjoy an evening of delicious food, beverages and mingling. In return their admission was to bring an item to benefit Kevin Guest House. Kevin Guest House is America’s first independent healthcare hospitality home away from home providing comfort, support and care for patients and families who are traveling to receive medical treatment from Buffalo area hospitals and medical centers. Kevin’s story can be found on https://kevinguesthouse.com, one of which is so heartfelt and moving.
The most amazing part of the evening was the overwhelming support and generosity of our clients that we are extremely grateful for!!
We were so taken back by the amount of items on the Kevin Guest House wish list that were not only satisfied but overly accomplished. There were countless boxes and bags full of food, toiletries, janitorial supplies, gift cards, checks and so much more.

The Williamsville office of Janney Montgomery Scott was proud to be a part of the 60th annual Variety Kids Telethon this past weekend. Roxane Simet and Dawn Pyc were on hand to donate $1,000 to benefit Oishei Children’s Hospital and several other children’s charities. The star studded event included Buffalo native Frankie Scinta, Singing Cop Moe Badger, and Josh Vacanti from NBC’s “The Voice”. The 15 hour telethon raised more than $906,060.
