Brett Riggi Joins Janney as Chief Operating Officer

Industry veteran assumes oversight of Janney's technology, data and insights, and firm operations.

PHILADELPHIA – Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management and investment banking firm, has named Brett Riggi, CFA, as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President. He reports directly to Janney President Tony Miller and joins the firm’s Executive Leadership Team.

As Chief Operating Officer, Brett will oversee technology, data and insights, and firm operations. He will help to lead Janney’s growth strategy by enhancing and integrating the firm’s technology and operations platform, executing a unified data strategy, and translating strategy into actionable steps for growth. Brett joins Janney from UBS where he was most recently Head of Trading, Advisory, Wealth Planning, and Performance Reporting Technology for Wealth Management USA.

Brett has more than 30 years of experience delivering transformational technology systems and digital solutions with expertise across retail and institutional financial services. Since 2013, he has held various leadership roles at UBS where he helped drive a technology transformation. He was a member of the Wealth Management USA Technology Management Committee at UBS. Prior to UBS, Brett was Chief Information Officer for Global Sales, Research and Capital Markets at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
