Nellie serves on the Girls on the Run Maine board and is a volunteer coach for the team Lyseth Elementary School. She began coaching Spring 2019. The program encourages girls to gain a better understanding of who they are and what's important to them, the value of teamwork and healthy relationships and how they can have a positive impact on the world. Running is woven into the program to inspire an appreciation for fitness and healthy habits.
