In January 2015, Daniel Honan joined Janney's Portland, Maine office, as an Executive Vice President / Wealth Management, bringing an abundance of knowledge to his practice. Prior to joining Janney, Dan worked at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley-Smith Barney. Dan believes the setup and support offered at Janney has better allowed him and his clients to successfully reach his/her long-term goals. Having led an accomplished career of over 30 years in the financial services industry, Dan financially prepares clients to conquer each life event and achieve each life goal for him/herself. Dan focuses on asset allocation, diversification, and utilization of investments that are appropriate for achieving his client's future financial objectives. He then delivers customized recommendations that are appropriate for each unique situation. Dan uses this exceptional background to help serve the needs of individuals, families, business owners, and non-profits.
Dan is a graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where he received his Bachelors of Science degree. Dan was selected to Barron's “Top 1,000 Advisors” on four separate occasions, 2009, 2010, 2013, and 2014. He was also named a Paul Harris Fellow in 2002, and received the Jesuit Magis Award for service from Cheverus High School in 2008. The Magis Award honors those who have achieved excellence as “a person for others.” Dan has been a member of the Morrison Center Board of Directors since 1993. Currently, he sits on their Executive, Finance, and Fundraising Committees. He has co-chaired their annual “Shot in the Dark” night lite golf tournament every year since 1995, which has become The Center's leading annual fundraiser. His 30+ years of charitable giving was recognized in 2018 by the Maine State Golf Association when the presented him with the Lifetime Achievement Award for running the tournament. A former board president, he served as co-chair of their only Capital Campaign in 2008 to fund construction of their new 24,000 square foot facility in Scarborough, Maine. The Center has been serving the special needs of Southern Maine for nearly 60 years. After serving as Cheverus High School's first full-time Director of Development and Alumni Relations from 1983-1987, Dan served as a member of their Board of Trustees from 1990 – 1998. It was during this time that the Board voted to change Cheverus to a co-educational school. When his daughter graduated in 2013, it was that much more special.
A lifetime resident of Maine, Dan enjoys golf, and is a member at the Portland County Club in Falmouth, Maine, as well as the Forest County Club in Fort Myers, Florida. Aside from being an avid golfer, he also enjoys boating on Casco Bay.

Nellie, the oldest of Dan's three children, joined her father's team in January of 2015 and has graduated from Janney's Financial Advisor Development program.
Within the team, Nellie has the proven ability to compose and articulate recommendations to our clients. Nellie is a CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) professional and has also earned her Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM (AWMA®) designation. The CFP® designation is the most recognized designation in the industry for personal financial planning, and it comes with advanced training in financial planning and wealth strategies, estate planning and tax reduction techniques, and retirement planning options.
Nellie works with clients to make recommendations in line with their financial goals through a consultative wealth management approach. She provides those investment recommendations along with overall financial, education, retirement and estate planning as part of her process to meet the client’s lifestyle and legacy goals.
Before Janney, Nellie received her Bachelor's in Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland where she ran Division 1 Track and Cross Country. Nellie lives on the West End in Portland, is an avid skier, loves boating and continues to run as much as she can. She volunteers and coaches with Girls on The Run at Falmouth Elementary School and previously served on the Board of Director's for PROPEL, the young professional arm of the Portland Region Chamber of Commerce.


Cynthia serves as the local manager for the Portland, ME branch of Janney. She has filled numerous roles within the brokerage community over her 25 year tenure. She has private equity experience, primarily through establishing a purpose-driven broker dealer for sustainable energy. She has also worked in finance with GMAC and in education at Skidmore College. She has recently earned certification for Long Term Care.
Cynthia earned a B.A. in Music and Literature from The State University of New York at Albany. She initiated MBA studies at Russell Sage Colleges on the Albany NY campus.
Cynthia is active with her church, The Cathedral Church of St. Luke in Portland. Her husband recently retired as a church musician, and is looking forward to new adventures. They enjoy various charitable activities and the many opportunities to participate in Portland's cultural offerings and enjoy Maine's natural beauty.

Debra S. Roey joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in November 2006, as Janney Retirement Plan Services (JRPS) Manager. JRPS was founded in 1982 to provide Janney’s Corporate Retirement Plan Clients with support in plan design analysis, proposal procurement and review, investment fiduciary services, technical expertise, and problem resolution.
Debra has over 30 years of experience in the Retirement Plan arena. Prior to joining Janney, she served as Regional Director with Union Central Life Retirement and Investment Services. During her tenure, she received numerous sales awards including qualification for the company’s highest society membership. She also served on several corporate committees involved with Strategic Planning and Product Development.
Debra earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Greg Drahuschak joined Janney in 1991. He has over 45 years of economic experience and provides daily, weekly, and monthly market commentary, with a particular focus on the equity market, to Janney and our clients.
Prior to joining Janney, he worked as a retail broker with—and eventually transitioned into the research departments of—Butcher & Singer and Wheat First Securities. He was also an instructor at Robert Morris College and the University of Pittsburgh.
Greg has written articles for several newspapers and websites, and has been the featured financial professional on many live radio broadcasts.
He earned his B.A. in fine arts from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as certificates from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and from the New York Institute of Finance.

Guy LeBas is Janney’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist, as well as Head of Fixed Income for Janney Capital Management. As Strategist, he is responsible for providing direction to the Firm’s clients on the macroeconomic, interest rate, and bond market investing climate.
Guy authors bond market periodicals, which provide relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. With Janney Capital Management, Guy is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s discretionarily managed bond portfolios, which take a client-tailored approach to generating consistent income across interest rate environments.
Guy joined Janney in 2006. Prior to joining Janney, Guy served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on $20 billion of bank assets and derivatives.
Guy is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business News, as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He received his education from Swarthmore College, holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Mark Luschini is the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the Firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies that align with the best interest, goals, and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the Firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.
As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the Janney's investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.
Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the Firm’s discretionary investment management division. Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $4 billion, with nearly $3 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded solutions and mutual funds. Mark served on the Board of Managers for Janney, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Firm’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan. He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees.
In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies under its advisory. Mark has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to macroeconomics and investment management at seminars and conferences.
His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and Barron’s to the New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, and Money magazine. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Fox Business News, and CNN.
He has a BA and MBA from Gannon University and holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association
