Members of our Janney Atlanta Complex including the Schultz Wealth Management Team and Financial Advisor Jeff Purdon participated in the 40th annual Atlanta Community Food Bank Hunger Walk & Run.
For 40 years, thousands of people of various backgrounds and cultures have joined together to end hunger in our community — one step at a time. Walkers and runners participate in this 5K event that benefits six local hunger relief organizations that operate and support hundreds of food pantries, shelters, community kitchens, senior centers, and childcare centers across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. In FY 2022-2023, the Food Bank distributed over 115 million pounds of food, the equivalent of nearly 96 million meals. FY 2022-2023 brought a record 39,000+ volunteer visits and 96,000+ donated hours in support of the Food Bank’s mission.
