Tuesday November 14th, our Greer, SC branch had the opportunity to participate in the Cookies From The Heart event at the Ronald McDonald House. We spent some time baking fresh, homemade cookies for their families and residents. Our group provided the ingredients, and the Ronald McDonald House provided the necessary cooking supplies in their house kitchen. The remaining ingredients and leftover cookie dough were donated to the House pantry.
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas is to keep families with sick children together and near the care and resources they need. They provide two programs located in Greenville, SC, a Ronald McDonald House and a Ronald McDonald Family Room, that both directly improve the health and well-being of hospitalized children and their families.
