June 11, 2026
BATTLE CREEK, MI — The Oursler & Morse Financial Team successfully hosted its latest client appreciation event on June 4th at the Squirrel Hollow in Battle Creek. Bringing together clients, families, and community members from across Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and Portage, the gathering underscored the firm’s ongoing commitment to giving back and fostering deep, personal connections within the community.
Under fantastic summer weather, attendees enjoyed an afternoon of exceptional food, live entertainment, and networking. The event featured a diverse culinary lineup, blending classic clubhouse options provided by the Squirrel Hollow staff with a popular spread from Big Mike’s BBQ food truck—which served up crowd favorites including ribs, brisket sandwiches, fried pickles, and baked mac & cheese.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, local favorites the Big Beard Brothers band took the stage, delivering a high-energy performance that kept the crowd entertained throughout the day.
The event also brought out local educators, including teachers from the Lakeview and Harper Creek school districts, who took to the course to enjoy a round of golf to officially kick off their summer break.
"Our client events are a cornerstone of who we are as a team," said a spokesperson for the Oursler & Morse Financial Team. "They provide a wonderful opportunity for our financial advisors to connect with clients on a more personal level, away from the office. By encouraging our clients to bring their families and friends, it turns into a fantastic networking space where people can meet their neighbors from all over the region."
The Oursler & Morse Financial Team extends its sincere gratitude to the staff at Squirrel Hollow for their exceptional hospitality. "The Squirrel Hollow facility and staff were incredibly accommodating. We are very thankful for their hard work in making this day a success, and we look forward to partnering with them again for future events."
The Oursler & Morse Financial Team hosts multiple client events each year as a meaningful way to express gratitude to their clientele and build a stronger, more connected local community.
