As the lead sponsor of the Aiken Area Veteran Support Charity Golf Classic, the Janney team in Aiken, SC was honored not only to participate in this year's tournament, but also to help support an event that has now surpassed $500,000 in total funds raised throughout its 17-year history in service of local veterans.
Held last month at Woodside Country Club under beautiful sunny skies, this year's tournament once again featured a full field of participants—a testament to the tremendous community support behind this important cause. According to tournament chair Scott Singer, funds raised help provide veterans with USC Aiken scholarships, mental health counseling, emergency assistance, and other critical services.
With more than 70 volunteers contributing their time and energy, including Janney team members Haley Culp, Jim Foley, Pete Sampson, Alex Vlahos, and Adam Dunham, the event was both an enjoyable day on the course and a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the growing veteran population in Aiken County.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this worthy cause. We are proud to be part of such a dedicated community and look forward to supporting the tournament again next year.
