PAAWS RI and Care for Animals work together to nurse abandoned and stray animals back to health so they can be adopted into fur-ever homes. Many animals are abandoned simply because they suffer from treatable health problems their owners cannot afford to treat. PAAWS helps with funding for medical and surgical services, preventative and sick animal care, dental care, vaccinations and spay/neuter services.

Hands that Heal RI helps with routine and emergency veterinary care and provides pet food to Rhode Islanders struggling to care for their pets. They also distribute pet food and other pet necessities to food pantries for families that are struggling not only to feed themselves but also their pets.

Together, with the help of our clients and office neighbors we were able to host a collection drive benefiting these three amazing local organizations in June of 2018. A total of $900 was collected and over 400 items were dropped off (included pet food, cat litter, toys, etc). We even had the chance to play with two of their adoptable cats!
