Gary is the lead Financial Advisor of Sound Wealth Management Group of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. He has provided comprehensive financial planning and investment management services for individuals and institutions since 1997. Prior to joining Janney, he held the position of Managing Director, Senior Vice President of Investments and was a Chairman’s Council member in the wealth management division of Raymond James.
Gary is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) who is always willing to share his knowledge regarding the importance of sound money management. In this capacity, he has been a frequent keynote speaker at financial advisor forums on investment management. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards as a top performing financial advisor and takes pride in being a valuable resource for industry professionals, peers, and clients. Gary has a diverse background that provides him with the business acumen to make a significant, positive impact in the lives of his clients. As a young man, Gary developed a successful music production company in New York/New Jersey, Nebraska, and Florida. After completion of his advanced degree, Gary held a variety of positions at AT&T, including Director of AT&T of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and Director of the Center for Executive Education and Development. Gary was subsequently recruited by a burgeoning technology company known as Paging Network, Inc. (PageNet) where he held a number of executive positions including a presidential role. During Gary’s tenure at PageNet, it became a Fortune 200 company and the largest wireless company in the United States.
Gary resides in South Florida with his wife, Jackie, and two of their three sons. Their eldest son is a bankruptcy and restructuring attorney based in Manhattan. Together, the family supports numerous charitable organizations, including Vickers House, Grandma’s Place, The Samantha & Ashley Housel Medical Fund, and the Bright Blue Bicycle Foundation which was established by their then 9-year-old son to “help children in need and give back to the community".
