A group interested in cutting the cost of college enjoyed a nice meal while listening to strategies for lowering college education costs at Mendicino's Restaurant in Covington Township Thursday evening October 10th. Ryan Wilson and Marty Genello discussed the importance of knowing your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and how to evaluate and best use a college's Net Price Calculator. They showed how private colleges and universities can be less expensive than state affiliated ones. Lots of information was shared to assist in the college planning process.
