Janney’s Pittsburgh Complex hosted a regional workshop focused on more effective ways of how to run a successful business including strong pricing of services. 

Special guest speakers joined us for the day to discuss strategies facilitating practical ideas to help advisors price their business. 

The agenda for this workshop included:

  • Pricing Belief and Realities hosted by Brian Overton, Vice President/ Director of Advisory Consulting, John Ricci, Vice President/Business Intelligence Strategist and Senior Client Manager, Roseanne McKernan of Pricemetrix. Topics discussed industry trends, current pricing opportunities, factors impacting the self-directed advisory practice, pricing resources and dashboard tools and pricing and financial planning.
  • Peer Discussion hosted by Nadav Baum, Executive Vice President /Wealth Management, Financial Advisor and Scott Horowitz Complex Director /Executive Vice President, Wealth Management. Discussion was centered around representing the service model, pricing new business, overcoming objections and staying competitive.
