We want to be your advisor for life. What does that mean? It means more than an asset allocation, we provide a relationship based on trust, understanding and knowledge. More than anyone in your circle of providers, our knowledge and ability to provide insight across those areas is substantial because we utilize The 5 Pillars of Financial Planning. Not only do we have your financial plan mapped out with all of your assets, we can also be a valuable resource working with your accountant, attorney or insurance provider when needed because we understand the intricacies of the types of investments and accounts and how they work best for you and your financial situation.
Who we Work With
We would love to say we work with everyone who is preparing to retire. Our strength, however, is advising senior executives and corporate professionals and their families who have accumulated $750,000 or more in investable assets. Most of our clients live and work in Greenville, South Carolina or the surrounding areas.
How we Work
Our relationship begins by going through our 3-Step Process, Discovery, Financial Plan and Implement.
Step 1 Discovery: During this initial meeting, we get to know each other and learn what is on your mind financially. You ask questions and we ask questions. We listen and help understand what you want to accomplish.
Step 2 Financial Plan: We’ve analyzed the information all of us have discussed about your situation and present a financial plan to you which provides an estimate of what your cash flows may be all through your retirement including all your incomes from pensions, IRAs, social security, etc… and how much you can withdraw from your assets to cover your any remaining retirement income needs.
Step 3 Implement: We address any outstanding path forward items and make investment recommendations. A decision to move forward with us is made at this time.
Throughout our relationship, our job is to consistently review your financial situation with you and address any changes of circumstances. We also try our best to anticipate and minimize any negative affect big market fluctuations may have on the portfolio allocation.
Our Investment Strategy
If you’re looking to hit home runs by investing in the latest and greatest stocks, then we are not the best financial team for you.
Our focus is to try and protect your wealth because once you begin retirement and your distributions start, a large loss to your portfolio just before or right after retirement could permanently damage it.
We mostly invest our clients’ portfolios in mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Our hope is that you trust in the investment strategy we develop for you based on our 3-Step Process.
Our Team
Our team is comprised of two advisors and two client service associates. We work as a cohesive foursome focused on communicating with each other so we are able to manage all the moving parts required to maintain our clients’ assets on a day-to-day basis. Working to executive a thousand little things very well and surpass client expectations.
