401(k) limit increases to $23,500 for 2025, IRA limit remains $7,000 | Internal Revenue Service
Two weeks ago the IRS released its tax brackets for 2025. This past week they released the changes to the contributions limits for 401(k)s and other retirement accounts. Additionally, they provided guidance on the phase out ranges and earnings limits for certain contributions.
